We also need to rename all the states.
Hrm...and we need a mod that rewrites all the mouseovers in correct ideological language based on government type. And the game should be renamed Marx II for this AAR.

Which is why the cities with blatant imperial names, such as Kaiserslautern and Kφnigsberg, should instead get names reflecting the revolution, not the revolutionaries behind it. I repeat my ideas of Freistadt and Volkesberg.
We need also a new language. The society must be also torn down, so that we can establish a pure revolutionary structure.
All houses built before the revolution are also quite counter-revolutionary, methinks.
Then our generals should all be shot for having such counterrevolutionary noble names!
Also, we should get new alphabets since the current ones have been contaminated by their bourgeoisie past.
In fact, everyone born before the revolutionary era should get new names or be shot. We cannot have names that are of biblical origins!
Destroy everything in the name of the revolution, today we shed blood, but tomorrow we shall enjoy our revolutionary creation!!!
Such sublime criticism.
But now there is a certain amount of difference between someone called "Markus" and a town called "The King's Mountain".
If we are to have name changes let it be to reflect the revolution, not the revolutionaries. If we create Lenningrad and Marxville then this will just cause a resurgance of Gigantomania, which with the economy as is, is not a good idea

Earth was here before the revolution, <crescendo>so we must destroy it!!!!!</crescendo>

Oh dear, you are being such a counterrevolutionary.
Bad names, for geographical locations or for peoples, must be all purified so that our revolution can succeed.
We have to tear the world of past down, one cannot build a new house atop the rubble of some old house.
Change everything in name of revolution!
Kill the counterrevolutionaries!
Now that's the Enewald we all know and love.
If the Luxemburgists are hawkish too then I will have no reason to vote for anyone else for a long time.
What really needs a name change are our generals. At the moment our armies seem to all be commanded by members of the aristocracy.
I move that Monday be renamed Marxday, and Wednesday, Workersday! And we remove Sunday from the week! And we adopt the French revolutionary monthly calendar! And all laws should be held to a unanimous vote of every man, woman and child of all strata in the VSVR!

Now we're in a pickle. The calender we currently use was designed by Pope Gregory, who was the head of the Catholic Church (which we are all in agreement is evil). OTOH, the last revolutionaries to come up with a new calender were the bourgeoisie French in the 1790s. So we're replacing a religious idea with a bourgeoisie idea.
Calendar is a nasty work used by all kind of bourgeoisie societies.
In fact, we should abolish time itself! All old calendars and other kind of measure system have been tainted.
Furthermore... we should just probably start shooting everyone in the name of the progress.
What about a law that enable death penalty for being a counterrevolutionary?
But laws are a bourgeoisie system of control, so they should be also banned.
Atop that, moral has been under heavy church influence, and therefore needs to be extirpated.
Speaking of church, all of them most be burned. Why keep so many counterrevolutionary houses standing when we can demolish them in the name of progress!
Once we start renaming cities after revolutionary heroes, where shall it end?
Here's an idea: 13 months of 28 days each, plus Workers' Day taking place every year on the summer solstice, outside of any month or week (though technically in the very middle of the seventh month). The new year is also to be moved to the winter solstice. To maintain alignment with the solar year, the leap day is moved to the final day before the new year (equivalent of December 20) and renamed Revolution Day. It is also outside of any month or week. Pick a day and I'll convert it to this new calendar. Just don't ask me about names.
(this is basically just a slightly-altered International Fixed Calendar)
I nominate Comrade SwiftRosenthal as our new Minister on Revolutionary Time.
Um, Tommy, can we have the policies of the factions please?

Tommy let's have some let's say "Foreign" parties try to take power in the VSVR

Fine. I'll remove the renaming of the cities from the election. My reason is all the bitching and moaning.
Expect the election to be up sometime today.
