look at the last time a goverment lacked power (e.g when anarchists still couldt get majority seats when it won ages ago) which didnt have enough power to intervene with the trade unions. Also wats the point in getting rid of the state when we havent even won yet?
I doubt anyone's life was untouched by death in some form during the war. However, they died to make the world a much better place. While one father may have died to the guns, two hundred more will not suffer from disease and starvation in the Tsar's prison camps. Blood shed for the revolution is blood shed for a noble cause. Surely you must see this?

I'm tempted to switch my vote from national communist to democratic anarchist but I really need to stop with the vote switching. I've probably done it more then anyone else in the thread.
Every winter my Uncle Bilbert used to go out and buy clothes for his entire hobbit family. I remember the first year I came along with him shopping. His tongue was swollen up so he was unable to speak but my uncle Bilbert was not concerned. He simply took me and my cousins to town and proudly presented his young relatives to the shopkeeper. The wise old clothesmaker just smiled and started taking measurements. After so many years of business he didn't hesitate to in fur my uncle's hobbits.
I'd be pretty annoyed if the election was won through strategic vote-swap with less than 24 hours to go. So, aye, don't change votes!

The only way the Kadonists are going to be banned is if they try to launch their idiotic coup. Which they have promised to do, might I add. They split from the main faction for a reason. The fact that you appeal to the faction shown to be blatantly undemocratic in order to keep out Trotsky, who is not a tyrant no matter what your views are on the True Germans, shows how much contempt you show for democratic process.

Yep. Seems to have fallen on deaf ears... but even though I want to see the DAs win rather than MLs, I'm not changing my vote. I would hope that others have the decency not to as well.

As things stand now, no faction has a majority without a coalition; I think viola was speaking more to encourage the A-Ks to form a governing coalition with the D-As than to ask A-K voters to switch their votes.
I know this election isn't even over yet, but all the same I'd like to throw out a suggestion for a national communist agenda item next time around.
Industries that have been proven to be unprofitable need to be handed over to the trade unions specifically tasked with phasing them out and making room for new industries which will be given funding to expand as quickly as possible. This will result in years of unemployment in the regions where change is needed however the state will subsidize the transition. The trade unions tasked with reducing capacity in overdeveloped industries will be given adequate funding to provide good wages to their workers whether or not they are unemployed through no fault of their own. This way we will not need to worry about regional lobbying to keep the local industry open because of fears of poverty, all workers will be taken care of.
This transition will not be easy, but we do not set out to do easy things. We set out to do the right thing. The chains of the status quo will weigh us down just as surely as the chains of the capitalist. In order for socialism to succeed, we must be willing to endure hardship today in return for a better life tomorrow. The birthplace of socialism should not be dependent on the rest of the world to subsidize antiquated production. Germany is capable of producing the finest goods in the world and should live up to that potential!
((I'm throwing this idea out there because I think an element of enduring hardship for the national good is very much appropriate to the National Communist ideology that we've seen so far. But feel free to ignore it or make it the platform of any party you chose. That is unless you already did something like this and didn't tell us?))
