Trying to install Titanium onto Armageddon that is shipped with HOI Anthology.

Did clean install of Armageddon then copied all Titanium files over the Armageddon directory.

Program starts normally, allows me to select scenario (WIF 1936) and country, but when I press start, program dies and I get an error message saying HOI2.exe has crashed.

Windows 7 x64, 1920 x 1080 Dell monitor.

I am having the same problem! The weird thing is that I used to be able to play WiF Titanium, but this new version is crashing. I know everyone is busy with Darkest Hour, but since that is four months out, any chance that this'll be fixed?

I don't really know how to mess with files, but does anyone with HOI modding experience know which ones I should check for mistakes?

To clarify, the game doesn't start to load and then do something like "unknown string wanted", it just shuts down when a scenario is picked and started.

E: well I just simply deleted that line, works now.

I haven't tried jushu's fix, but I just alt+tab when the scenario/savegame just starts to load, and it works.

Oh and, It's just impossible to play it. It keeps crashing, and I haven't played it even for 6 months. One time it crashed on January 3rd 1936 ._.

You just have to open db\WIF\Pret_Bail.txt with a text editor, find the line 919 and delete it. Solved the problem.
