The team will publish threads with more details about the changes, to avoid confusion or mix with other topics.

For that, we need time to prepare the threads with the information

But the team will publish more details (this week)

Main Features – Iron Cross:
- Play as any one of over 200 nations from 1933 to 1964
- New game map with more than 4,000 new provinces
- Over 6,000 new events
Well, sounds great. Ive been looking for a good cold war continuation for a long time. And there can never be enough events.

But this is the most important thing IMO:
Will be compatible with Hearts of Iron II: Armageddon, Arsenal of Democracy and Darkest Hour.
Now, if only Darkest Hour could be made compatible with Arsenal of Democracy and would work if you install Iron Cross on top of it
I really really dont want to go back to the pre AOD production and stuff.

Stupid question asked many times: why an HOI II expansion, when the III has been released for more than a year?

It is by many people considered a superior engine and most of all: superior game. It is simply more polished and attractive in many ways.
