Hi Henri,
IC is an expansion.
DH and AoD are "new" games based upon the EU-engine that is also used for HOI2.

So you just have to make few adjustments to be compatible with all of them.
IC is therfore made compatibel with all of them.
And because IC is an expansion, it shares the features of the host(HOI2/AoD/DH).

IC has for each game(HOI2/AoD/DH) differnet compatibily files to enable it with these games(HOI2/AoD/DH)and plays a bit different as the 3 games gave differences tehmselves.
But with each of them(HOI2/AoD/DH) you will have the features of IC...

So if you want the features of AoD you have to have AoD. And it will play surely different as if you play IC witout this features of AoD, no? But you can play it allright if you have not AoD but Arma already and buy AoD later.. Or.. well..

dont know where to post this so. I(com china conquered most of China. Nat. China was annexed by Japan and the USA conquered the northeast and the south of china. Japan only holds small parts of indochina and their mainland. Im waiting for the surrender event to fire. Will it fire or do I have to fire it manually.

I have noticed that the Maps for IC and for DH are different. Now I understand that IC would run over DH, but since both maps are different from the original DDA (which i currently am running IC over) will the map from DH convert to the map from IC or are you changing that to accommodate the incredibly detailed map of DH. Or are we going to get SUPER lucky and the IC map and the DH map mix to create pure awesomeness. I really love the smaller province structure of IC. Also I apologize if this was already clarified. Thanks

No, but we have released a Rev4 of patch 1.01.

If you play DH+Iron Cross you'll get both games features, including Iron Cross Map, events and New Nations + DH features except the DH's Map.

transports(for trade etc.) and escorts must be cheper!!!especiali transports!,jap. Hey,

This may have already been addressed but I can't find it. I have AoD installed and then installed IC in the AoD directory. Is it now not possible to just play vanilla AoD? I clicked on the desktop icon and started AoD and got the IC load screen and then when I tried to load my save game from pre-IC installed AoD, it crashes.

Please tell me that I haven't lost my AoD games without having to reinstall AoD.

i have AOD AMA and DH can i sintall the iron cross on all 3 at the same time or i can only do it to one ?

Already answered you in other post. You can install Iron Cross on all three.
