    I had similar problems in a previous version (great mod, btw) though I wasn't sure if I had caused myself by editing a few states and provinces. The issue seem to be broken files with missing linebreaks in the history\provinces folder, in this case the usa\204 - Savannah.txt . The engine creates a province without RGO. The province producing "nothing" makes the ledger crash and slaves won't convert to laborers/farmers. To fix it in a running game you'll also have to edit the savegame.

    Howdy Konrad, thought i'd let you know that my Guns of August 2 multiplayer campaign is using your VRRP with a few custom changes for a practice game until 1.2 is released, and i'm posting a separate thread in the modding subforum here with it (where I shall credit you!). Hopefully this does not seriously violate your non-redistribution to pirates policy; we play on the metaserver so everyone has a valid pdfox forum account for playing with and downloading said custom mod version.

    Guys, I'm in need of some help. Below is the current working version of 1.09, minus gfx folder (to make the upload smaller, extract over 1.08 installation to try this out).

    Naval revamp is done, but there is a bug I haven't been able to find the cause of, despite my best efforts. Cruisers are available to all countries at start, even those with no techs at all. Cause unknown. Please help, I'm out of ideas. Honourable mention in the hall of fame will go to the one who's able to find the cause. I won't be able to release 1.09 until this is fixed.

    Edit: Issue fixed. File left here for now if anyone wants a sneak peek at the naval changes, feedback is of course welcome.

    In navy_inventions.txt there are 2 seperate inventions activiting cruisers. One of them is tied to steel_steamers which doesn't excist anymore. Removing that invention solves the issue.

    It seems it's related to the navy inventions, i searched around and i found 2 entries that activated the cruiser. After i deleted both of them, the cruiser no longer was activated at the start of the game....now let's see which is the wrong one

    Edit : Oh, seems like someone was faster than me.....)

    Does anyone know how to create a global (or even countrywide) modifier reducing the CON of all POPs by a certain specific amount each month?

    You could use the event from the canal mod, the suez one that gives money over a couple of years ->

    It's not an easy job, and it would mean you get a pop-up every month, but it's doable. I'll try to make it myself, to see if it works

    Now, the bad ones. The event sometimes fires twice a month, and i can't figure out why (my modding skills ~ 0, at least with this game). The date at which it fires is random, you could get on the 1st or the 31th :-? Also, it's pretty annonying to have an event every month firing in your face with just an option.

    I don't know if it's possible to make it invisible to player, maybe a more experienced modder can help Also, new events would need to be created, i put the pandemic one at random =)

    In V1 if you set the event's name to be "AI_EVENT" it would be invisible, and it's effects would be applied without a popup. I have tested this and it doesn't work in V2, but maybe there's a new way with the Clausewitz engine to do this.

    konrad, did you consider your changes in interventionism?
    to be serious: I feel very annoyed about that.
    I don't get it why they needed to be changed from vanilla settings.
    I would be very pleased to see them rolled back.
