Ok so I followed the above instructions. So I have the game downloaded on my computer without steam. I'm on the internet too. And it still crashes every time I get into a battle!!! What the heck?!?! Something is seriously screwy with this game!
I was wondering -like Anders_de_K and Beanie- if the digital-download version of M&B:WB (which has a 4 by 4 key) can be added to a Steam library (which normally requests 5 by 5 keys). Is there a way to pad the missing characters, or does it require a completly new license?
I doubt it. Steam delivers a service, and they'd want to be paid before offering it.. you could ask Steam if you want to, but the answer's likely to be no..
There should be an option in Steam to add a non-Steam game. I'm not certain if it gets fully featured Steam access, but it can at least somehow be associated with your profile.
