    The New Tibetan Empire

Sorry something went terribly wrong and I had to repost my first update. Scroll down to see it.

This is my first AAR. I decided to play as Tibet and conquer the world. No mods and yes I do add some extra base IC and leadership after I begin my game. I say that it is a gift from other nations but it isn't.

    The New Tibetan Empire

    The New Tibetan Empire

Tibet was once a great empire. Now in 1936 it is a small and irrelevant country. To rise to power they will need a great leader. This leader is the reincarnation of Buddha. He may be young but his knowledge exceeds that of many common people combined. He is His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, Jetsun Jamphel Ngawang Lobsang Yeshe Tenzin Gyatso. He was born Lhamo Döndrub and his name is shortened to Tenzin Gyatso.

It is now the 1st of January 1936 and the country does not seem to be in the best of shapes. The army is not really an army, the industry and leadership are feeble. How is this ever going to work!

An emergency government meeting was called was called for January 20th. There the 6 month old Dalai Lama starts speaking.

Dalai Lama: I believe that we must unify the world to reach peace, if that is not done in the coming century I believe that bad things will happen us.

Astonished everyone looks at him as if a bomb had been dropped in Lhasa. How could a six month old boy speak so clearly and have such deep thoughts? But then they remember that this child's spirit had lived with the people of Tibet for thousands of years.

Reting Rimpoche (Head of Goverment and Foreign Minister): I believe that we should reorganize the government and the army. First I think that the armament minister must be replaced for someone more competent, someone like myself.

Tsepon Shakabpa (Armament Minister): How dare you question me and my service?!

Dalai Lama: I think it is a wise thought Reting. Tsepon I hereby kik you from the government. I also think Reting that you are not a very good foreign minister, well at least not as you could be and you are a little bit power hungry. I think we should promote your secretary, Kuntsig to that position. Your position as Minister of Security could also be given to your second secretary, Gedun.

Reting: I understand you holiness, I will promote them if you so wish.

Tenpa (Chief of The Army): I believe that I should be promoted to Chief of Staff.

Gyato (Chief of Staff): It is up to your holiness to decide.

Dalai Lama: Well, I think that you both are good but I believe that if Tenpa is The Chief of Staff then you Gyato can be his assistant. It would be a fruitful cooperation. Gentlemen I believe that we are in need of some rest, lets continue this meeting tomorrow, there we must discuss about our military power.

Government before and after the meeting.

Wonderful! I'm sure Siddharta would agree. Looking forward to see what the future has in store for the Greater Tibetan Empire.

Yeah at the moment I am playing on very easy difficulty but once I conquer Yunnan I am going to take it to normal difficulty.

Its just because of the industry that I decided to start like this.

Will you add some manpower ?
Will you use the "noneutrality" cheat ?
Will you use an extended timeline or try to conquer the world before 1948 ?

    Change from story to history...

I really suck at writing dialogs so I am changing this from a story to more of a history book in the next post.

The Plan Against Yunnan (Stage I)

The Plan Against Yunnan (Stage I)

On the 2nd of January 1936, Tibet had started building one infantry Division as part of the defensive reinforcement program. But after the meeting that took place on the 21st of January between the Dalai Lama and his new government, the plans where very different from what first was thought. The meeting was not secret, but the information exchanged behind the closed door was only revealed when the war ended. The plan was to build up an army on the border to Yunnan. Then the neutrality of Tibet would be lowered very fast in a speech by the Dalai Lama himself and the threat between Tibet and Yunnan would grow very rapidly thanks to "small" diplomatic moves. Research would be focused a lot on the military effectiveness of Tibet's new invasion plan. During January there was an investment in making people from lands far away to build new industry, schools and hospitals in Tibet and it worked.

On May 14th the government had a new meeting, there it was decided that the establishment of new political parties was from then on prohibited because of the threat and mess that they where causing in Tibet.

In June 1936 the first real infantry division of Tibet was ready to be deployed on the border to Yunnan. The 1st SE Army of Tibet was created very soon there after and the first infantry division was attached to the 1st Corps of the SE Army of Tibet.

In July, Tibet had made advances in a few military technologies that would be vital if they where ever going to succeed against Yunnan.

Tibet had a plan and was putting it to action. The Dalai Lamas plan to unify the world to reach peace was for now seeming to be easy flowing and very straight forward. But would it be like his forever?

Nice update, looking forward to the war against Yunnan. Also, what difficulty are playing, it looks kinda low to me, you have six leadership points, and you're Tibet
