@ Kaiser Mobius: Indeed, those CAS bombers and strike fighters will be great tank killers, but they will be easy target for Mitteleuropean fighters if enemy fighter aircraft formations won't be neutralized before. I hope that French and allied fighters will manage to do this job.
@ Kurty: Damn, I spotted this CASA name in image, but I forgot to delete that. Let's just say this is a typo made by some bureauocrat at airlift command, he mixed some documents about Mitteleuropa air forces and reports about French Air Force, so he accidentaly typed the name of Spanish air transport instead of name of the French aircraft. Of course we're not using Spanish planes, Spain is member of Mitteleuropa, we don't use the weapons of our rivals!
@ Karaiskandar: You got that right, General Noir!
@ Razgriz 2K9: Thank you very much for your input, I like those names a lot! Our transport planes are called Dassault Tempête, not CASA, there never were CASA planes in our airforce (it was just a bureauocratic typo, lazy official will of course get cut in his wage
).

The pride of La Royale, fleet carrier FS Ferdinand Foch, was hosting an important guest, the President of the Republic himself. President visited the bridge of magnificent floating fortress and inspected the commaning officers. Then he gave a speech to gathered sailors and other members of staff on board. This fleet carrier was part of the strongest naval battle group, called Ferdinand Foch Strike Group. This formation was made of three fleet carriers (FS Ferdinand Foch, FS Philippe LeClerc and FS Jacques Massu, all named in honour of great Marechals and leaders of Republic) and dozen of destroyers (fire support against enemy ships) and frigates (assigned for additional anti-aircraft and anti-submarine defence). Philippe Petain strike group was made of fleet carrier FS Philippe Petain and two light carriers, FS Charles de Gaulle and FS Philippe de Gaulle (NOTE: Those two light carriers are sister ships, there's another bureauocratic typo here, both carriers are from 1985 generation, but FS Charles de Gaulle is better armed and has better statistics). Those carriers that also bear the names of glorious Marechals are escorted by strong escort of destroyers and frigates.
Francois Darlan Strike Group was consisted of fearfull nuclear battlecruises, escorted by frigates for anti-submarine and anti-aircraft protection. Strike group is lead by largest nuclear battlecruiser FS Francois Darlan. There was a destroyer named FS Francois Darlan in French Navy before, but it was sold to Phoenicia just before the battlecruiser who received the same name was launched. New destroyer of Phoenician Navy was named King Hiram and the first nuclear battlecruiser of Marine Nationale was named FS Francois Darlan. This way, FS Francois Darlan was ''transormed'' into battlecruiser. Special task fleet for amphibious assaults called ''Invasion Fleet'' was mix of armed landing platforms of Foundre class, transport ships of older types, and frigates for protection against enemy submarines, missiles and aircraft. Submarine Fleet was combined from Rubis class submarines and Triomphant class guided missile submarines.
At the end of the day, naval commanders assured President Dassault that Marine Nationale is ready for any kind of situation. After all, proud ships of La Royale gained a lot of experience in the past, especially in war against the navies of Syndicalist Internationale. Three carriers really celebrated themselves with many important kills: FS Ferdinand Foch eliminated two Bengali carriers, another Bengali carrier was destroyed by FS Philippe LeClerc and Brazilian carrier was neutralized by FS Philippe Petain. Many other enemy vessels like destroyers, frigates, submarines and transport ships were also destroyed by those three French carriers.
