Entente against Internationale: Phase 10
Confederate troops advanced towards the South and reached Merida, the last fort of Mexican Syndicalists. Area with massive port was surrounded. Entente aircraft was constantly attacking the port of Merida as intelligence was revealing heavy enemy naval presence in the port. However, air strikes were limited after information that many neutral ships are stucked in port was received. Entente managed to negotiate release of all neutral and civilian ships from the port. But this later proved to be a huge mistake. Due to dangerous conditions, Entente didn't check the ships that were leaving the port. Controllers were satisfied by quick check of type and ownership of the ship: All cargo ships, yachts, fishing boats and large freighters were allowed to pass. Mexican civilian vessels were checked with better care, while vessels that sailed under flags of neutral nations were only barely checked. Many people also retreated from the area with help of those vessels: Due to massive numbers of those refuges, it was impossible to check who was really just an innocent civilian and who was Syndicalist official under cover. All were allowed to pass in this chaos.
After neutral and civilian vessels were evacuated from the port, Entente units continued with attack. Confederate navy blocked the port, while Confederate units stormed the area. Defense was broken and Entente units began hunt for Syndicalist leadership and weapons of mass destruction that weren't found in Mexico yet. Some nuclear devices were discovered in other parts of Mexico, but number of found weapons was too low to speculate that all devices were discovered. Unfortunately, there were no nuclear weapons and Syndicalist leaders in Merida. Syndicalist Mexico was defeated, but there was no trace of Syndicalist leaders and their infernal weapons. However, Syndicalits prepared another nasty surprise for Entente: Before Confederate troops could reach the port, large Syndicalist fleet, made of remaints of Mexican, African, Bengali and CSN fleets, commanded by African admiral, left the port and striked the Confederate fleet. Entente ambush was unsuccessful and hunter became the prey. Enemy surface ships performed direct attack on Confederate fleet, while enemy submarines surrounded their targets. Entire Confederate navy, together with light carrier Robert E. Lee, was sunk by Syndicalist naval units.
After Commune of Mexico was knocked out, combined forces of Entente advanced towards Centroamerica, the last Syndicalist state in North America. Central American federation of socialist republics established defense line in mountains of Guatemala: Defense was lead by general secretary Daniel Ortega himself. Entente offensive was soon halted due to brave defense and harsh terrain, and air strikes were ordered to soften the defense. This allowed the forces Entente to push back the weakened defenders. Centroamerica couldn't establish any new strong defense lines due to fast advance of Entente troops and Confederates soon reached the Panama. Centroamerica capitulated and it's leadership escaped trough jungles of Panama, hoping to reach the Brazilian controled areas via secret land and sea routes.
