For The Glory - Germany

Chapter I: The Calm

Here is Germany, surrounded by her enemies. We lost much land after the war which is known as the Great War now, but we grew strong again and will not rest until Germany is restored. Almost twenty years have passed since the Kaiser’s army lost its long struggle against the democracies of this world. Their numbers and their unity are their strength, but they lack willpower and innovation.



There is much to do and the road lying ahead of us is stony. France is to the West, hiding behind walls of stone and always afraid to lose their vast colonial empire made of dust, sand and rocks.
The United Kingdom, protected by water and the Royal Navy. Their old empire is fading, but they haven’t lost it yet and will, unlike the French, defend it to the last. They know their empire is their soul, heart and scourge.



To the East are Russia and her vassals, known as the Soviet Union in our times. With her hearts committed to communism she’s ready to infect other states until the world drowns in anachry.
In the face of her enemies, Germany is getting ready.

Chapter II: Iberian Front

War is getting near. In Spain, patriots revolt again the so-called liberal central government and declare themself free. Spain shatters intp pieces. Nationalists, monarchists and other enemies of the bosheviks raise; communists, democrats adn other unite against them. The local patriots in Madrid fail to take the Capital, even though well-trained forces from the colonies are on their way North.



We decide to send parts of the Luftwaffe to Spain to assist the Nationalists. Italy has already occupied Mallorca and ships foot troops to Sevilla.



This is not enough. The Republicans cut the Nationalists' territory into half and advance at every front. After the leaders of free Spain accepted our full military support, German merchanaries are send to the Iberian peninsula. The Panzerexpeditionskorps immediately close the gaps in the Nationalists' lines and rush for Madrid!



The enemy is caught off-guard. German tanks connect our allies' territory and divide the enemy forces into three. This move alone will break the Republic's neck - they tries to advance everywhere at the same time instead of forming a Schwerpunkt.



Victory is there. The rebellion was successful. Germany has found her a new ally. France and Britain did nothing to help the Reds, which proves that they fear the Reich again - twenty years after the war to end all wars.

I'll post a picture soon, but it's nothing too special - Guanxi has not joined the United Front and Japan is between former Shanxi area and Najing.

They are not, but I used a very similar style and got the inspiration from C&C. Won't hurt.

Chapter III: The Storm

While the British Empire and her french ally are gearing up for war, the Reich finds herself friends in Latin America: Argentinia joins our alliance to avoid being swallowed by the United States.



Austria takes her rightful place and returns to the Vaterland. The Austrian Germans celenrate the Führer during his visit of Vienna and even the Italians congratulate us once Germany delcares the German-Italian border an unshiftable one. Italy can keep Südtirol.



A few month later, Sudetendeutschland is annexed by the Reich. The Czechs are unhappy, but France and Britain want peace, even though they know that war is unavoidable. They are silent when German soldiers march into Prague in spring of 1939.
Hungary, on the other hand, forsees the change and joins us too. We reward them with their rightful claims on Slovakia.



The moment has come. Alone, weak and expendable for her neightbours, Poland doesn't want to give Germany what is hers. They know they are doomed, they know the Reds will come to grab what Germany leaves for them, but they still choose to fight.



Without a warning, German tanks roll over the Polish-German border and cut Poland into two. The Polish army feels strong and takes some disposable territory in the north. They hope that France will attack us. They hope that the British will send help.



Two weeks later, they are gone. Communist forces sneak into eastern Poland and infect it. The storm is here.

Chapter IV: Iron Blitz



"Who's not with us is against us"

The French sit in their trenches along the Maginot line and await the German attack. Meanwhile, the Kriegsmarine ignores the British naval superiority and invades Norway with a team of specially trained Marinesturminfanteristen. We need Norway's iron ore and a German-controlled Norway will make sure that Sweden, while being a neutral country, favors the right side.



Argentinia surprises the Allies and takes the Falkland Islands facing next to no resistance. Ths will hardly impress any soldier, but will show that the Axis Powers accept no country occupying their territory.



Our other Hispanic allies in Southwestern Europe still fight out the long and bloody siege of Gibraltar. The British have fortified every single building on the small stripe of land and won't give their precious colony until the last Allied soldier in Spain is dead.



The Netherlands are taken by surprise too. The flat plains make ideal territory for our tanks, which drive to Rotterdam crushing everybody on their way.



The forces of Yugoslavia are in an even worse shape. The army consists of many different ethnics and half of the soldiers aren't willing to die for a nation they don't believe in. German armoured forces are even victorious in mountainous areas.



After the long and bloody battle of Gibraltar has finally ended, we need to make sure the Allies' second entrance to the Mediterranean sea falls under Axis control as well. Our Panzerdivisionen, which have just finished the short Yugoslavian campaign, cross the Greek border and head towards Athene. The Greeks are better prepared than their neighbors and have established the so-called Metaxas line. This will slow down, but not stop our soldiers, especially not since the Kriegsmarine has reached the Mediterranean sea and made any Allied support for Greece impossible.



One European nation after the other has fallen under Axis control or influence. Spain has started her assault against Southern France and forces the Allies to divide their forces. This is our chance. We'll drive through Belgium and Luxembourg directly to Paris!
