I really can't see any way to sensibly use VR for your games. But an augmented reality grand strategy game might work, physically go to your local library to claim it for the research bonus - if you have the authority to maintain your claim at distance without having to go back. Isolated players would likely have lots of natural resources on hand to build up the power to get useful things without having to do a real life long distance trip.

It seems so obvious to have it as an mmo that I have to point out it doesn't need to be - balancing could have it that you typically have anything from a small fief and the game is dealing with neighbours, to being able to build enough power near home to take over the world.

To the artists involved March of the Eagles.

This avatar must be Ludwig of Bavaria.

This is the Ludwig I's portrait, the nearest I could find to the avatar.

The hair color is different but this looks like the image it was based on. This implies a different scan or a trace over? Unfortunately, Google/Bing/Tineye don't have any higher resolution copies. I wonder if anyone in Paradox's art department ever found a higher resolution scan of the portrait (upon which you based the avatar)? I emailed the author of Ludwig I fan-page but he has not found a better copy than the above.
    Not Enewald,

Men fear thought as they fear nothing else on earth -- more than ruin -- more even than death .... Thought is subversive and revolutionary, destructive and terrible, thought is merciless to privilege, established institutions, and comfortable habit. Thought looks into the pit of hell and is not afraid. Thought is great and swift and free, the light of the world, and the chief glory of man. Bertrand Russell
