Sorry for the lateness. Congratulations to all winners.

Let me also use this opportunity to announce my retirement as operator of the AARland Choice Awards. In the past six months my interest in AARland has waned as I have moved on to other things. I have continued to run these awards out of loyalty but alas, given how long it has taken to get around to compiling these results it's clear that I'm past it. I hope some noble soul can take up the reins and follow in the footsteps of myself, phargle and anonymous4401 by running these awards. This institution has been going on for almost 5 years and it would be sad to see it go. I have enjoyed running and archiving these awards and thank the writers and voters for making the experience enjoyable. Thank you all, and happy writing.

I decided to skip this and last the ACA because I was ashamed of my incapability to read all the AARs that could have participated in the ACA.
Plus there are too many good AARs out there, I simply cannot give a vote just to so few of them. Would be unfair.

However, what I'm even more proud of is a shared second place in the CK narrative, a forum well known for its high quality writing.
