Golden CaesAARs 2009 Voting Thread

Ladies and gentlemen,

As the annual awAARds are being handed out it's also time for:

the Golden CaesAARs!

Even though this forum is the most quiet one together with For the Glory (Diplomacy doesn't count) we are still running. However, as I checked which AARs were completed, instead of abandoned or ended due to save game incompatibility due to patches, there were only three applicants left. Thus there isn't exactly a point in opening a Nominations Thread first and we go straight to voting.

The three AARs running are:

-Petius Nieblus, The First Dog in Rome, by Kurt_Steiner. Comedy AAR played with Rome.

-The Ilergetan Republic, by Lofman. Gameplay AAR in Lofman's Mod played with the Ilergetan Republic.

-For Rome's Honor, by comagoosie. Narrative AAR centred around Caesar's campaigns in Gaul, played with Rome.


The vote closes on the 22nd of March!

Great to see this up and running, Qorten. Thanks for running the show. Voted and proudly for comagoosie's Rome's Honor. Taking nothing away from the other works, but it was a long running and extremely well written AAR and deserves the top spot, most definitely IMO.

I like the Ilergetan republic most, enough awesome conquering.
Comagoosie had quite splendid narrative and kurt managed to be surprising good in comedy.

12 votes so far, with comagoosie's Rome leading with 5, the Ilergetan Republic has 4 and Petius Nieblus has 3 votes. It's all still tied together. Every vote matters!

EDIT/ The 2008 edition had 26 votes so we are almost halfway. Spread the word, Rome fans!

Just want to point out that the We Three Kings AAR was also completed last year. Unless of course all the players have to write the AAR to completion in a MP AAR, in that case WTK is not applicable

As Wyvern's entry is the last AAR entry and written on 6/1/2010 I considered it finished in 2010. It'll be included in next years' edition! Push Peter for us to write his final chapter!

EDIT/ 16 voters by now and For Rome's Honor leads with 7 votes, 2 more then Lofman's The Ilergetan Republic (5). Petius Nieblus has 4 votes.

Comagoosie won with 9 votes. Petius Nieblus was third most of the time but in the end got the second place with 6 votes, while Lofman's The Ilergetan Republic received 5 votes.
