yeah but i wasnt after the czechs. there are probably a lot of japanese as well, which i dont have yet. so if you have time, please search there.

Note: in v38 German air leader #1101045 Uebe pic is missing (Uebe_Klaus2_colour_ger); AFG land leader #280017 Zahir should have his colour pic too (same as #200020 & 200025)...
 
thanks for the Uebe and Zahir report. as for the JAP special, maybe. otherwise i took a crash course in CW and US mechs and CAV http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum...-in-Colour&p=17085702&viewfull=1#post17085702 so there will be a few ills.
Uebe is iirc also used in DFR vanilla (in case you use this :) ).

unfortunately the head of navy is not correct, and the civilian ministers are not as well


as for IND and PAK: i made some coding and a tiny bit of research today. i will stop since i do not really need it. however you are maybe interested, so i post the code for you to test (since the 39th isnt close yet). if you have suggestions or spot mistakes let me know. otherwise i'm through with south asia for now.

Cool pictures, maybe a few decription for them? and what kind of focus can we expect for next release?
I'm tempted to suggest a new infamous japanese leader: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanji_Iwabuchi (poor leader: 1/4) either as a naval or land leader (no commando trait)...

Coldfire, its not a real mod. its kind of a resource package for making personal mods.
you can download this and extract it ob the desktop, then you'll find different folders for countries which you can choose to mod.
there are ready written CSVs for leader and ministers at the bottom of the file (called "z - AoD")

so if you want to have eg australia, you copy all the images manually in the pics folder, and take the CSVs for australia, ministers and leaders. load up game to see if it works.
all you have to do is to save your original CSVs to return to status quo ante.

thanks. i cant do this much research ATM, so feel free to make new suggestions. i havent forgot the old ones.

what is needed are land leaders for ENG, USA and JAP for the majors (just game wise)
for the minors BRA, SWE and TUR (basically whole latin amrica, but realistically the two candidates which are actually played are ARG and BRA, i think)

yes. also BEL should load up fine again, the iranian chief of navy is fixed (maybe used wrong image), the greek royal air force have their correct chiefs now, first name of Gazis fixed.
the first foreign minister of NZL added (wasnt in before), and maybe 2 chinese.


btw, i opened a new image-sharing thread at AHF for JAP generals http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=208862.
so if you find new ones please post them there as attachment rather than here. if we find more contributors who post images (with link to source image, if possible) then maybe we can finally fix JAP.

you could do the same for FRA, btw to spread the word (or image). its meant to support websites like generals.dk, since you can post images quickly, do not have to crop them and receive comments or corrections from other researchers + post more than just one for each person. i just thought it helps nobody if i sit on a hill of pics here.

Ah ah, I was afraid for a time...:laugh: the worst is that I started playtesting v40 with Japan...no luck moreover, since France didn't accept armistice in that game: so no Vichy, no alliance with Thailand, no Indochina to Japan and no Pearl Harbour so far; Germany lost too much time defeating the last French forces near the Maginot Line and the Soviets declared war while Strasbourg, the last unoccupied province, was still being held by surviving french divisions !! now most of Europe is Soviet-occupied and the Reich and her allies are close to surrender...crap! but I managed to defeat China and etablish China Nanjing...I think I'm gonna start a new game soon!

Nice preview btw (mostly -many- japs, but a few italians in first row, right?)
