OK, Correction done with Boehm-Bezing_Diether_von_colour_ger pic.

EDIT: L60475 and L60476 (US Admiral Turner) - is that a double?

i have a question about Gauché, Maurice-Henri: found him here

and thats what i made so far

the pic is not fully done yet, but the uniform is just made of imagination (a bit from Jacomy); is there an example for this type of uniform somewhere? no hurry i keep all templates and changing things doesnt take long, just if you spot something.
Gauché was an infantry officer so his uniform model 1931 (Grande Tenue) should look like this one (which is an infantry major uniform).

was marked as "généraux Germain et Baudoin" but we have been unable to find this one again, and there were at least two Baudo(u)ins?
http://generals.dk/general/Baudouin/...ma/France.html
http://generals.dk/general/Baudouin/...es/France.html
I think the second is the right one and the correct name is Baudouin indeed.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! excellent work as usual, so you deserve well the right to hibernate for now!

N.B.: hopefully we will find more material for France in the months to come...but 326 pics now, waow, great!

thanks!

theres another detail in the SOV CSV, a land leader with the superior tactician trait.
i missed to switch him to air force (do this and the mistake is corrected). iirc it was Kutsevalov http://generals.dk/general/Kutsevalov/Timofei_Fedorovich/Soviet_Union.html
if its not him i dont know, i corrected it and forgot who it was, just search for the "4096" with a missing "2" for air force in the CSV.
he is a replacement; most "originals" can be found here

thanks!

Fixed thanks! and yes I remember this link on soviet aces and PI making some of them Commando leaders!

Links found:
- Colour picture of generals de Gaulle and Catroux in Syria here.
- general Aubert Frère with two other unidentified generals in 1942 here.
- Link with the pic of general Henri Nicolas François, commander of the 70th Infantry Division (info found in the text); the story is about Philippe Ritter who was a 17 years old young man who helped to the capture of a German downed pilot and his nearly intact Me109!

thanks, the catroux pic is great!

funnily there is also Alexander Rutskoy as a soviet general (was replaced). his name ingame was Ruckoy or similar.

i think Rubtsov is still in, but a lot has been replaced

LOL!! :p

French general:
LTG (only MG on Generals.dk and web.genealogie) René Bertrand (1895-1966): first found here and already reported on page 13 of this thread; just found another pic of him on the ESG website here; infantry, BG 12/1944, MG?, LTG??, retired 1954.

EDIT: just found 1947 pic of general Darius Bloch a.k.a. Paul Dassault (1882-1969)!! artillery, BG 1933, MG 1936, LTG 1938, G 1947, end 1948 (in reserve from 01/42 by Vichy then reactivated in 08/44).

i already have him since stonyroad times, i was holding him back as i thought this pic was made later (1953 - as described at the bottom)?

i'm kind of inactive right now, if you dig out more it would make sense to add the new findings in one post and update this one. last time we discussed the french leaders i had to search 3 pages to find the links and promotion dates when i had the time to paint them - just to make things easier for me if you dont mind - but i'm kind of a "dormant leader" right now :). just doing research, eg expecting some good news for ITA air force HERE.

liked the Bertrand pic a lot, though.

btw as theres no new version in sight it would make sense to play a bit (if you like) and hunt down mistakes if possible. every little typo or tweak for promotion dates or traits is welcome.

i uploaded a file for dormant german leaders and the anschluss event here - just in case you're interested. hungarian ss leaders stay dormant as those divisions were created in a certain situation; Falkenhausen stays dormant as well as AoD has a "giveleader" event-command (dont know exactly if eg DH also has this) - just in case this is needed.

EDIT: btw, we have this guy in france called Paskewicz (L24208)
the pic can be found here:
http://www.history.navy.mil/photos/images/h79000/h79962l.htm
Major Paskewicz, French Air Force;
i think we can exclude this one.

however theres a person with a similar name:
http://digicoll.library.wisc.edu/cg...=div&did=HISTORY.OMG1948N135.I0019&isize=text
memeber of the allied control commission after the surrender of germany (maybe 47)

Mr. Burck
Eng. Gen. E. Paszkiewicz
Principal Eng. (Major)

and i think i have the pic of him:

should be the person on far left (together with Westropp http://generals.dk/general/Westropp/Victor_John_Eric/Great_Britain.html
Mr. Raw
Maj. Gen. V. S. E. Westropp
Air Comdr. R. N. Waite
i think the "S." is a typo) - do you know him?

How do you install?
well you take eg the soviet leaders CSV from "ZZZZZ - CSVs" (make sure you have made a backup of your original) and drop it at the right place (db/leaders)
then you copy the pics in (gfx/interface/pics) - those wont overwrite anything.

load game to see if it works. - same for the rest.

NB this uses AoD or my JAP/ROM mods as base, for those countries.

rwglaub said:
And what about the ones in misc?
these are country specific gfx for GER/JAP/SOV. unlike the skins you can only use one set of gfx. so if you eg play SOV, copy those in your "gfx/interface" folder.

should look like these images if you for example attack:

http://img813.imageshack.us/img813/4646/japx.jpg
http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/6241/sovdg.jpg
http://img29.imageshack.us/img29/7483/gerfx.jpg

i'm slowly but surely defrosting; here's a little preview for those interested

first line POL (eg Langner, Fabrycy, Boncza-Uzdowski, Grzmot-Skotnicki, Jagmin-Sadowski, Knoll-Kownacki, Prich and others - dang i had to copy-paste those names lol)
2nd line SOV (3 admirals - 2 new - + Kozyr + Bagramian no 2)
and an alternative for Johann Pflugbeil, GER

EDIT:
Karpon;9999;SOV;1942;1944;1990;1990;2;6;4;2;0;5;0;L9999;1942;1970;x
seems to be just another version of Mikhail Kirponos?

L9999 = this image

P.S.: sorry, nothing new from me since my last contribution, I didn't spend much time doing researches for months...
