recoloured a few pics and thought i should share

EDIT: pics show up to pixely sometimes in the file, but usually they are ok ingame

EDIT2: added some CSVs for AoD (GER/ROM/UKR/FIN)
for ROM + CSV you need to have http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/...d.php?t=465008 (ROMANIA Improved) installed

EDIT3: some random gfx added + sleep leader events

They're excellent, major. I know people are divided on the colour v. black and white issue, but with all the other colourful interface graphics I have in play, I think coloured pics are a natural fit. Thanks for all the effort you've put into these.

you're lucky as i'm a bit hooked

ok i upload v2, sorry i dont name them like Lxxx / Mxxx as this only leads to mistakes.

i try to finish GER/year 36 currently but this will last a bit as i'm still a rooky in this painting stuff - but i've an appr 3 GB collection so sources are not the problem.

i update first post - and i'm planning to release CSVs as well (but as i said this will take some time)

some french leaders/politicians

I figure if all I have to do is dub in the L and M numbers then I'm getting things very easy. Making those crisp, vivid pics is the hard part. A lot of work for you, but great news for me!

ok the whole thingie is a bit complicated:

some of the pics i made (better: the generals) are not in the CSVs

some of the L - numbers do not exist / are already dead / are doubles in two CSVs / do appear two times in one CSV

(eg in the Japanese CSV, there are two leaders, one is called Honma and the other Homma; both are one and the same person, and he also shows up in the MAN or MEN CSV iirc)

others simply do not exist.

like the german/austrian leader "Zborzil" existed, historically, but the picture shows Odilo Gobocnik

things like these happen in every CSV and no MOD is correcting these, so best is you make your own CSVs with your own pics (or collected ones) and carry them from MOD to MOD and only adjust the sleepleader events (but mostly MODs like CORE or HSR only have sleepleader evts for very few people so its easy to adjust).

ok some guys i made arent in the game like Henri Bineau:

so you can just add him to the CSV if you want (and maybe add him to the sleepleader evts when france surrenders)

otherwise you can simply as you said rename them in L / M and the number and it should work

personally i prefer to build my own army (mostly german) and carry it from mod to mod as its more accurate anyway (and less work as well i think)

That's pretty much what I'm intending to do. On the subject of mismatches, you have a pic for Nordeck_Willy_von. That name doesn't show up in any of the CSVs I have, though there is a Nordmann. The pic, however, looks awfully like Schüssler (L874) in the CORE CSV. I hasten to add that I'm not being picky here - just thought you'd want to know.

theres no other place where ALL of them no matter what branch shows up with exactly the image that PI uses in its games (there are a few typos - mostly Umlaut related - in the page)

edit:

v3 is up. more pics added including very old stuff (pics i copied from the internet)

mainly germans, but also men from other countries like POL/JAP/SOV/ENG, etc

enjoy (well, basic modding skills are needed, thats not a drop in)

actually most of the stuff is more or less old, i was just to lazy to copy it in the first release.

sth about CORE 0.40 (in case this is your basic CSV)

take care about the first names of the men, like eg Bock is an SS guy in CORE 0.40 while he is a different man in vanilla iirc.

but fine that theres is some positive feedback!

EDIT: others are in NO CSV at all AFAIK like Sogawa Jiro ( 十川次郎 )

instead of changing the pics name, change the path in the CSV:

eg from:

21001;Head of State;Miklós Horthy de Nagybánya;36;FA;Resigned Generalissimo;High;M21001;x

to:

21001;Head of State;Miklós Horthy de Nagybánya;36;FA;Resigned Generalissimo;High;Horthy_Miklos2_colour_hun;x

(in minister/leaders CSVs)

now nothing will overwrite this pic
