Can we please not have a revolution? :p They always turn out so messily...

Okay, these Economy studies are definitely screwing with my head right now :D. Did you guys know Qy= -px/py.qx+B/py but only when B/px=B/py with the exception of dqx/P=dqy/P which in the end comes down to -px/py or py/px which is the exact same f*cking formula you started with ten pages earlier

RAAAH!

Good luck to all!
Vincent

Dude! thats no not cool to make me regret that I started study economics even more! buhu! :(

TRP could you change the name of the government in-game?
It would be great! :) And then the persons if they want can have their own avatar or picture as minister picture!? :)
What do you think?

And maybe some dissent events:D Like DNVP gets crazy and kills all members:D
Or the commies try a revolution?
You know that event picture you have made and then you mod the game;)

Good idea, but we're not going to mod in all the new leaders code-wise, would be too much work every two years. If we can find the background used in the GUI for the government info, we could just copy that and make a Realpolitik graphic with it showing the current government

Also, we're not going to allow revolutions by anyone for the time being. If any party has ambitions to revolt, however, you may send us a secret PM and maybe we can work out a minigame for a couple of years in the future. Revolutions will happen on our (TRP) terms though, and our terms only, else any party can just go and type 'we shoot member X of party Y and now he's dead' and entire Realpolitik degrades into a Dungeons and Dragons spinoff :D

For your sake, I hope you reeeally dig economy, because what I'm learning right here is an introductory course, it's a minor college, I only have 1 hour of it a week and only in the first semester (6 months) of the year. Nontheless, these graphs and rules are so friggin' hardcore it makes my head spin.

Dammit TRP, your AARs are so goddamn addicting and epic that they managed to outsize most of the other AARs here in a matter of weeks! WEEKS!
I'm feeling like a third-world farmer competing against Monsanto:(
PS: in other words, keep on with the good work chaps:D

Yeah...I'm planning on an 'Ich bin der GroFAARZ' AoD AAR...though everyone's going to forget about it in favor of TGG... /cry

In other news...we want TGG!

I, VILenin, vote for the Deutschnationale Volkspartei (DNVP), and the Prussian Conservative Party (PCP)[/I]

The victory of democracy is at hand! The triumph of reason over madness is within our grasp! Fellow citizens, support the Conservative Democrats to keep Germany free and safe.

Well, TGG is not 'our' AAR, it's made with seven authors. And if you want to start a new AAR, just go ahead. Readers don't have to read one AAR so it is very possible that a more AARs are very active at the same time. We think Realpolitik is a good thing because more and more lurkers are now coming out of inactivity and becoming members of AARland, which is great for all authors as everyone gets more readers in the end.

Uhh, Uhh, "pulling out the PC cable".
Hax.. IS .... GONE!

No, but please tell what TGG is?
Is it something with TRP or AoD?

TGG stand for The Great Game, a multiplayer AAR that TRP and several other well known players will start when Arsenal of Democracy comes out.

Your telling me! Realpolitik is constantly distracting me from my work, the speed at which it spread is simply grotesque.
So Rühl, we are sorry if our newest creation is slowly eroding away your betting AAR. :(

Which reminds me, 5 Dollahs to the first one to get the reference in our sig. ;)
"Totally Random Productions - It's like shaving your chest with a lawnmower!"

What is TGG? :D
Shame on you Hax, have you been living under a rock or something??? :p
Check this out.

Also, did I mention before that I won't be participating in The Great Game itself, but that instead I will be writing the "host" updates together with Vincent?

Well now you know.

Is it the same one that started all the way back in CK?
No, absolutely NOT, I noticed the thing after we decided on a name, so "The Great Game" stuck.

I have reexamined the synopsis pages for all the parties, and in both Socialist pages, the overthrow of the Kaiser is advocated. In addition, a Syndicalist monarchy brings unwanted ties to the hated French and perfidious Albion. I have an idea for a party, but since the limit was reached, I dare not pose my ideas. Not to mention, I've never touched Hoi2, so, if President (unlikely) I'd be unable to dictate suggestions to the kind folks at TRP. We'd need a new leader.

I think I agree, especially if we want to stop the so-called Center, come next election. The only reason I'm sticking with the Bolsheviks for this election is that they still remain the guardian of Marxist ideology, but I'm considering forming a new party on the basis of a Syndicalist Monarchy combined with Weltreich, once I get some good ideas on how such a Monarchy would work.

What sort of "unwanted ties" would such a Monarchy bring? I would like to minimize them, of course, but at the same time, the German Left does need to show that they are serious in promoting progressive ideologies. That was the reason why the original Left fell to the Bolsheviks.

EDIT: However, since I never touched HOI2 myself, the best I can hope for is Kingmaker.

OK, I changed my vote on page 46 (you'll find it ;) )

I vote for PCP and NUP

For the Imperial Coalition that will save the German people from those frikkin' revoltin' Bolsheviks!

@ Hax: So now you see you are going to lose the elections, TRP just have to make a revolution event so you can grab power. How sad that your party just does not represent the things the german people want.....:):D

i assumed that, if Germany had a Syndicalist monarchy, that she would be tied to the Internationale. If she had a choice and could ignore said Internationale, that would be optimum. I wouldn't vote for it, but it would sure be interesting.

I, arya126, vote for the prussian conservative party (PCP), and the Deutchnationale volkspartei (DNVP).

seriously? y is anyone looking to vote for a COMMIE germany? that is WRONG. commies and germany equals an asteroid hitting berlin cause the aliens dont like the new germany
