I (Laurence) am insulted, we are NOT Walloon, we are Flemish, big difference! ;)

About the RL waiting period, I was thinking about 5 to 6 weeks, I don't know what Vincent wants, so we will discuss this on the next TRP meeting.

Cheers,

-Laurence

TRP meeting? You mean when I crash by your house on fridays? :D

Also, voting closed for

The counting has begun!

And we're doing it oldskool, DIY!
*Takes a sheet of paper and a pen and starts setting lines*

-And start stealing my food and dairy, yes.

Is it legal to have 4 parties in one coalition? :p:rolleyes:
'Cause it would be rather hard to control such a coalition irl... :D

Kick DNVP and NUP, Iron Fists haben mehr glory!

Just can't stand the thought of losing right?

we'll manage the 4 party coalition, maybe a merger of NUP and DNVP will do the trick but that is just a thought (already uttered by TRP though...)

Tim

And Enewald as a Finn knows that we had five parties forming government between 1999-2003.

Beat you, we have a nine-party Cordon Sanitaire (coalition to keep the Fascists out of government) :D

Results have been counted and will be posted in a sec

Fascists=Vlaams Belang?

Well, we did have same kind of government during Winter War, all parties but IKL.

That is hardly an influence that you are free of.

He raises a legitimate point; a four-party coalition - especially one composed of two centrist parties, one conservative party and one Fascist party - seems rather implausible.

Hell, the Weimar Republic itself had enough trouble keeping its three-party coalition from collapsing (which it regularly did), and that coalition consisted of two moderate centrist parties and one social democratic party, which were mostly ideologically compatible.

You are discussing a coalition between four parties of very different beliefs.

I thought the NUP was supposed to be a centrist party, "hoping to gap the bridge between the left and the right"? Seems a little odd that they would then combine with a right-wing Fascist party which wants to outlaw all Socialism in Germany.

The combined elections have ended in
Imperial-Center Victory!

We wish to extend our congratulations to chancellor-elect Great_Chairman who has taken on the task of forming a new government with the four-party coalition. Right now we must wait for the new government to announce it's formation after which we will continue with the next step of the game. You are now allowed to cheer and chant to celebrate the electoral victory!

Hurrah and huzzah, common sense has prevailed.
The LCP will stand to its promise to defend liberty and democracy.

On a further note, the Haxists are bigger than GLORY :D.

As host:

I would like to congratulate all players for their strong campaigning. Laurence has monitored your campaigns closely and three of you have been selected for receiving a Realpolitik Award from him :D. It includes two members of the opposition and one government member.

And as member of the PCP:

The next elections will be held in March 1938, as usual campaigning will begin January '38. When this will be in Real Life I don't know, I'm planning for having at least a week or four of gameplay now, else it would be elections all the time :D. We reserve the right to push the elections to a later date, but for now we'll go with March 1938. Note that the government can not dictate when the elections are, that is our decision.

Wow, Haxists have received more votes than Glorysts? Most interesting results.

There is missing one vote for NCRP;)
What shall we do with that?:p

It should be 16
And Iron Fist and NCRP I think should have same amount votes;)

But 1-2 votes shouldn't change the government so I don't care:D

I have found all 3 of the German Labour Movement's votes. I respectfully request that the totals be ammended with the correct results... Or the credibility of this election will suffer.

Done and done. Remember that the counting can allways be off one or two votes due to the fact that not everyone used the requested layout (making us miss some votes), but it doesn't really matter now as the elections were a clear imperial-center victory
