Most of this TTs are made in 1946~1960. so don't discuss about history. because N.Korea is too seclused. and very few resource is avaliable.

Ordnung muß sein?

it would be great if the teams themselves would be sorted either by name or by skill

I'm considering sorting tech teams for countries marked done. Should they be sorted
(A) alphabetical, or
(B) first by first skill, then alphabetical, or
(C) in some other way (e.g. doctrine teams after all the other teams)?

Alphabetical. That is how I am doing mine, and that is the most easy, and locial way to do it. It is also easiest for the player to understand.

I think alphabetical would be best, but also doctrine teams under the other teams.

That way you can find everything fast and compare them easily.

Slovene Territorial Defense or Teritorialna Obramba Republike Slovenije

Before the modern armed forces today this system of defence was established as a response to soviet aggression during the cold war. If Slovenia got an earlier independence this system would have been setup earlier maybe during the end of ww2?

Decentralization, small unit tactics, individual courage, infantry focus and training.
Skill level 3 similar to the tec. team called ministry of defence
Starting year 1946 - 1970

Not sure we can use this as a tec. team but the country has an 80 in infrastructure and strong industrial TT. I would be needing feedback for starting date and skill level.

Name: Tuvinian Air Force
Skill: 1 (If ever I could give a lower skill then One, this would be it)
Traits: Aircraft Testing and Mechanics
Years Active: 1939-1970
Notes: Founded in 1939 the "Tuvinian Air Force" was part of the Tuvinian Cavalry Squadron. Along with the above picture of their PU-2, they also had another plane, for a grand total of....(drumroll)....2 planes! The "squadron" was disbanded when Tannu Tuva was annexed by the Soviet Union in 1944. So although it barely was an airforce, it provides a TT for Tannu Tuva.

Coded with skill 2. Please let me know if you are happy

Before I make this post I would like to give a very big Thank You to Frech of the Axis History Forums. He has spent his personal time looking up the information below, and without his help I doubt any of this I could have done alone. He has registered on the Paradox Forums, and hopefully will make a personl appearence here. Until then I ask that you check out his personal website: www.frech.co.at :)

Years Active: 1945-1970

T_AUS_Werner_Vogl .bmp

Name: Werner Vogl
Skill: 4
Specialties: Training, Decentralized Execution, Combined Arms Focus and Small Unit Tactics
Years Active: 1945-1970
Notes: Was one of the very first Gruppenkommandanten (Corps commanders) of the Bundesheer in 1956. Was an Oberst dG in 1956, promoted to Major General in 1958, and full General in 1964.

Note: I had asked Frech what he thought about the Start Dates, (I had explained the situation to him) and he said that it would fine that they all started in 1945. Before the refounding of the Bundesheer in 1955, they had all served in the B-Gendarmerie, which was the de-facto army of Austria since 1945.

In my opinion these teams fill a large gap, as we know how hard it has been to find post-war leaders for many nations. Because of this I can now recommend moveing the end dates of Hubicki and Jansa back to 1945. I also now think that we should scrap the Army/Airforce teams, as I had understood it they were only a temporary measure until actual people were found.

In the file I have their pictures, and also Jansa's new picture, and have the renamed Pictures for Luxembourg (ARBED and William Kroll).

Not to be rude, but a Skill 2 for an Air Force that at it's largest consisted of 2 planes!:D

I suggest lowering it to skill one, and adding Aeronautics. I also think this TT Kyzyl Airport is rather odd. Since I have found this actual TT, I think the Airport should be romoved. Airports usually do not sponsor Aircraft construction on their own, this one certainly didn't.

Also still waiting for you to do the changes to the Middle Eastern TT's...

About the Korean teams. They generally have too many specialties.
For example why carrier doctrine?
Also one of the Universities should go. I would prefer a later coming TT for nuclear research. Both Korea deserve it, but not within the University.

still working on the proposal

TOO MANY? yes, i agree. but you know, Korea would appear by USA or Nationalist China's liberate(and USA is MOST of avaliabe percentage). or cheat with F12 at JAP and play. then naval doctrine will setup to carrier, so it will need. (just for fun, not for balance. but it will be okay. because puppet Korea will not make any carrier.)

Also one of the Universities should go. I would prefer a later coming TT for nuclear research. Both Korea deserve it, but not within the University.

you means, i have to seperate univ and nuke?

Lee Chunho become president of the Seoul National University in 1947. Start date of 1921 is too early. He received his MSc at that time.

Or think about Korea Atomic Research Institute (established in 1959)
http://www.kaeri.re.kr/english/sub/sub01_03.jsp

Nuclear development in Korea began in 1957 when Korea joined the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which was followed by the establishment of the Office of Atomic Energy within the government in 1959 in conformity with the global trend toward developing the peaceful use of atomic energy.
Based on the above and other text in those links, I think a nuclear team should come later for Korea.

Seoul University:
# 1918 Founded as Kyung Sung Public Agricultural College
# 1956 Promoted to four-year college and renamed Seoul Agricultural College

Seoul National University:
Founded in 1946, Seoul National University was the first national university in South Korea, and served as a model for the many national and public universities in the country.

Korea University
Mainly economics, law and humanities.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korea_University

Yonsei University
Was a medical school.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yonsei_University

I would suggest Yonsei till 1946 and Seoul National Univ afterwards
Yonsei University: Skill 3; Spec: Chemistry, management; 1930-1946
Seoul National Univ: Skill 4; Spec: management;chemistry;mechanics;mathematics

Samsung
In 1938, Lee Byung-Chull founded Samsung, a small trading company with forty employees located in Daegu. During the war, Samsung's businesses flourished and its assets grew twenty-fold. In 1953, Lee started a sugar refinery—South, Korea’s first manufacturing facility after the Korean War. The company diversified into many areas and Lee sought to establish Samsung as an industry leader in a wide range of enterprises (Samsung Electronics).
Additionally, Samsung manufactured a range of aircraft from 1980 to 1990s
Thus Samsung should be mainly an industrial research teams. Skill 6 with electronics, industiral_engineering and management

I think one University per country is enough. Korea University could be discarded. I wonder why South Korea should have such strong Nuclear research team, btw.

Was constructed in Supung, near Sinuiju. Only PRK should have this team. Discarding this team and add energy resources on Sinuiju to represent this dam is alternative option.

deathdate added. Ji Cheongcheon should have "small_unit_tactics" not large one. And Skill 5 for him is too much, since he never held any military command after independence.

Code:
13509;Lee Jongchan;t13509;5;1937;2000;combined_arms_focus;small_unit_tactics;centralized_execution;technical_efficiency;training;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;x

This team is must be discarded. She was first korean female pilot, but this doesn't mean she could influence or even research Military Doctrines. Real ROKAF Commanders, such like Choi Yongdeok in techteam make more sense.

13511;Son Wonil;t13511;4;1930;2000;seamanship;small_taskforce_tactics;naval_training;centralized_execution;carrier_tactics;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;x

"carrier_tactics" for ROK Navy is nonsense. "large_taskforce_tactics" should be replaced with "small_taskforce_tactics".

Code:

Alternatively DPRK could have Lee Hwal as techteam, who was Chief of DPRKAF.

13501 Defense Construction Agency <- Exactly, WHAT IS THIS? No one of Koreans know about it. I think it's ADD(Agency for Defense Development).
it is established in 1970, at Seoul. http://www.add.re.kr/

"국방부 건설본부". Established in 1961.

13506 Laboratory of Army Research and Development Command <- Sounds like ADD. but i don't know about it. sorry.

"육군연구발전사령부", predecessor of ADD.

EDIT:Ahh emu'd.

Or think about Korea Atomic Research Institute (established in 1959)
http://www.kaeri.re.kr/english/sub/sub01_03.jsp
Based on the above and other text in those links, I think a nuclear team should come later for Korea.
agree with your proposal.

Yonsei University
Was a medical school.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yonsei_University

I would suggest Yonsei till 1946 and Seoul National Univ afterwards
Yonsei University: Skill 3; Spec: Chemistry, management; 1930-1946
Seoul National Univ: Skill 4; Spec: management;chemistry;mechanics;mathematics

Yonsei is not medical school until 1957. it was unite of Yonhi and Severance Collage(as Hospital - 1885~1946, as Collage - 1946~1957). so i think this one is only not good one. and there's a TT for agriculture - Woo Jangchun.

Seoul Univ. is agree with you. it will be replace Korea Univ.

Thus Samsung should be mainly an industrial research teams. Skill 6 with electronics, industiral_engineering and management

sure. it will replace Supung Hydro-Plant. ans IAF will replace Samsung.

I think one University per country is enough. Korea University could be discarded.
as kunadam's proposal, Korea Univ will delete.

I wonder why South Korea should have such strong Nuclear research team, btw.

President Park Chunghee has plan to make nuke. it could complete at late 1990s. (one of rumor is Lee Whi-so helped it, but it's not true.)but after his death, President Chun is canceled all of this project, and disorganized team.

Was constructed in Supung, near Sinuiju. Only PRK should have this team. Discarding this team and add energy resources on Sinuiju to represent this dam is alternative option.

it will be replace, too. thanks.

Samsung should be computer/chemical industrial team.
i cant agree with this proposal. because history of Samsung Electronics is started since 1969, under Lee Geonhi's management.

Ji Cheongcheon should have "small_unit_tactics" not large one. And Skill 5 for him is too much, since he never held any military command after independence.
thanks for wrong matching, but skill will left. Because he was one of students of Korean Empire's Military Academy, professor of Shinheung Military School from 1920. one of leader of Korean Liberate Organization(대한독립군단 大韓獨立軍團), leader of 'brigade' at Amur Accident ( http://ko.wikipedia.org/wiki/자유시_참변 ), and Cheif of KLA since 1940.
No command after liberate that's because he was too old to do anything that time. he was born in 1888.

This team is must be discarded. She was first korean female pilot, but this doesn't mean she could influence or even research Military Doctrines. Real ROKAF Commanders, such like Choi Yongdeok in techteam make more sense.

agree with you. Choi is much better.

"carrier_tactics" for ROK Navy is nonsense. "large_taskforce_tactics" should be replaced with "small_taskforce_tactics".

yes, you're right. but i'd said above. as puppet Korea liberated in game. it will be caused with USA(most of all), CHI, and cheating with F12+event 46 or 47 at JAP. USA and JAP will have series of Fleet Auxiliary Doctrine. then KOR will have carrier tactics. it's too odd?

Shouldn't have "rocketry" speciality.

without rocketry, how can they make Rodong and Taepodong?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rodong-1
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taepodong-1

Alternatively DPRK could have Lee Hwal as techteam, who was Chief of DPRKAF.
i know. he was one of Shinuiju Air Corps which made at 1946(at TT's picture, suited man is Kim Ilsung and right of him is Lee Hwal). these guys are make KPAF(Korean People's Air Force, official name of DPRKAF) with colonel Maxim (Red Airforce's pilot).
Most of all, Lee is pro-Japan one(colonel of Japan's airforce since China-Japan war.)

IIRC, AoD ends on 1964 - when Park's first term begin.

South Korea need computer/cryptography techteam. But this is not really important issue since there is (almost-generic)University team anyway... So I'll stand correct.

Then his deathdate should move to 1946. After independence he was devout anti-communist politician rather then army commander.

This is issue, but by same logic DFR or even Iceland could have Carrier doctrine team.

Most of all, Lee is pro-Japan one(colonel of Japan's airforce since China-Japan war.)

And Shinuiju Air Corps was effectively dissolved in 1946. Lee hwal's japanese army career isn't real issue in here, since we are dealing with korea after independence from japan.
