War in Indochina was over and European troops proudly marched trough the capital of defeated nation. Swift action of European allies rescued the Pearl of South East Asia and eliminated another foe. Indochina was rogue Syndicalist country which jumped out of world war when Syndicalists started to lose their advance. After the war, they were pushed in isolation by all ideological blocs: Syndicalist, Democratic and Imperialist. Building their unique kind of Socialism, Indochina lacked friendly relations even with Soviet Union.

Because of mainly isolationist policy of this country, nobody expected invasion like this. Indochinese armies had marched trough German part of Kra Peninsula and started to siege fortified city of Singapore. Luckily two brigades of German marines bravely defended the city and enemy offensive was halted. This bought enough time for Europeans to bring enough reinforcements.

Great part of operation was put under Austrian command. Danubian Federation was nation with greatest transport fleet which was able to bring enough units to the other side of the globe. But troops had to be transported before it was to late. Singapore was single major European port in South East Asia and if Indochinese had captured it, it would be very hard to get it back. With German Ceylon as nearest naval base being to far for successful naval assaults, any operation against Indochina couldn't be possible.

Transport fleets had suffered some damage from Indochinese raiders, but most of the ships reached their destination. First wave of reinforcements was made of special forces from France and Mittelafrika. Elite Carthage brigade led the way for five Mittelafrikan jungle brigades. Those units were united in First Ostasiatische Korps commanded by recently promoted general Le Muffen. This Corps didn't only repel several enemy offensive, it even managed to break trough enemy lines. Indochina had thrown massive, but obsolete air fleets in fight, but they couldn't stop advancing enemy.

Mitteleuropean navies have swept enemy raiders and more reinforcements were brought. Second Ostasiatische Korps was sent from Austria, made from most elite units. Among them was Lithuanian Iron Wolf brigade led by experienced commander Eisenschuh. Third Ostasiatische Korps was sent by Italian Federation. Six Italian mountain infantry brigades were commanded by general Magagnin. Expeditonary units were supported by many separate European support brigades. Luftwaffe was clearing the sky of enemy air fleets and protecting advancing units. Altough advancing in very slow way due to rough terrain, European units couldn't be stopped any more. Indochinese industry was producing enough material for Syndicalist troops and Europeans had to fight against brave and well armed enemy.

Greatest cities of Indochina soon started to fall. Bangkok, Phon Penh, Rangoon and the last one, Hanoi. After fall of Indochinese fortified capital, Syndicalist leadership accepted the fact that any further resistance is without any sense. After peace was signed, Indochina was broken into several independent states which were under heavy influence of victorious forces. French established Confederation of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. Germans brought king of Siam back on his throne while Austrians decided to keep their eye on Burma.

It is 2020 and the world is still divided into several ideological blocs. Soviet Union is lonely, but mighty power that extends from Pacific Ocean to the heart of Europe. There stand the armies of Mitteleuropa as brave sentry and defend their borders from influence of the Red Bear. Despite occasional tensions between Mitteleuropa and Soviets, Syndicalist powers are trying to preserve status quo to keep control of waste lands of Eurasia, which are endangered by Amerocentric Entente and massive empire of Shanqing Tiangue. This policy is successfully driven by Soviet foreign minister Delex which is assisted by general Micos Demetros, expert for Mitteleuropean affairs also known as the Red Knight due to his aristocratic past. Commanders Magagnin, Le Muffen and Eisenschuh received highest European awards for their heroic deeds in defense of Singapore. While Magagnin and Le Muffen had finally retired and finished their carrer on Corsica and Tahiti, Eisenschuh lives and works in West Galicia as commander of Lithuanian Royal Guard which is protecting exiled Lithuanian king Mindaugas.

General Alexandre Noir became French minister of defense. Because of his support for development of specialized units, French Alpine troops became most elite mountain units in Europe. General Enewald was elected for president of Mittelafrika under very suspicious conditions. People of Mittelafrika supported him with 96% of votes. General Andreas Hærfugl, commander of the Danish Royal Guards Division became military advisor in La Plata. His advices are very valued on elite military academy in Buenos Aires.

Spanish Queen Kitana Hernandez y Sanchez accepted requests of Her First Minister Kurt Steiner and granted independence to Catalonia. Catalonia is now independent nation, but still connected with Spain by personal union. Exiled Bulgarian prince Xesan, who had to leave his country when Bulgaria became neutral republic, became German ambassador in Canada. German Air Marshal Kevin Wilhelm GrossHerzog von Beldo-Aijem became Kaiser's First Pilot: Chief Inspector of the Luftwaffe. He was also awarded for his service in Indochinese theater of operations. Count Urho of Väinämöinen became minister of foreign affairs in Danubian Federation. He is leading negotiations with Soviets about possible transfer of Transylvania back to Danubian Federation. Commander Templeton had seen heavy fighting in Indochina as Canadian military observer in Third Ostasiatische Korps. Now he has returned to Canada where he intends to publish a book about his experiences.

THE END
Thank you for reading!

I hope you have enjoyed my story and I hope you had some fun with it. Respecting wishes of the readers, next MDS-KR AAR will be done with National France. You'll probalby ask: Why won't you play simply KR or MDS France? Well, I like to mix mods. The second thing is that I want to make better AAR of this type. Heirs of Weltkrieg was some kind of Beta AAR, first of this kind and I have done many mistakes in it, as you could already noticed. This is why I want to make better version, same idea, but with diffent story and improved scenario. I'm also happy to see that AARs made by mod mixing are still quite popular: For example Romanov Enigma by Kurt Steiner. This AAR will start after I end my Bonapartist AAR(another mix, this time Pteap and Southern Armageddon). I hope you are pleased with this choice. Thank you dear readers for your attention, and thank you Kaiserreich and Modern Day Scenario modding teams for making such a great mods.

Bravo sir! Congratulations on finishing this wonderful AAR. I loved every update, and I am eagerly looking forward to your next KR/MDS hybrid.

Congratulations Asalto!
It was a highly enjoyable AAR and a very orginal one.
I'm pretty happy about the carreer of Général Alexandre Noir to say the least.

Now we need someone's else following the AAR with Catalonia conquering the world.

:D

But who? I really don't know...:D

That's indeed a great mystery.

Thank you for your kind comments, everybody. I'll try to make a new hybrid as soon as possible, all I can tell you is that North America and Asia will be much more divided than in this AAR. You can also expect more futuristic Kaiserreich flavour and more historical backgound.

Have a Happy Easter!

Firstly, I'd like to thank Asalto for his majestic and captivating AAR. It was an additional honour to have Ironboot take part in it.A shame that Lithuania fell to the Soviets, but we all know - dictatorships don't last forever, and Lithuanians will hope that one day, the Russian people will understand the fact they've been going wrong way all the time and release the peoples of Europe. Or maybe not - those Russians are so unpredictable. :D
