My knights game in 1515:
Am now working on converting all of my provinces (all of them already have catholic minorities).

What is the present bonus you are enjoying from the tongues?
I doubt very much Helius would. More then Likely the following will happen:
Ubik - Portugal - Colonization and conquoring of South America and India.
Wiz - OE - Rules from the Indus to the Caucuses ... From the Nile to the Carpathians.
Helius - Bremen - Rules all of Europe North of Iberia and West of the OE.
Ese Khan -Ming - East Asian Overlord From Ming to the Rus.
Strannik -Japan - Map Maker in splendid Isolation.
JWS - Castille/Spain - Ruler of the Vice-Roy of North America.
/nod.
5 tongues:
tax +125%
Manpower +80%
Land force limits +1.5
Naval force limits +5
Direct tax +125%
Discipline +10%
Fort defense +10%
Also note that I got allot of money by trashing Venice in two wars and on top of that I had to take 6 loans during the course of the game.
Inflation is 1.4

I think none of the above is exactly true
I lagged far behind in technology, after all the wars. (It took 250 years to banish the British and halt the Russians.) The last wars I fought (defensive) were white peaces, as the Polish and Austrians (and Portuguese) in particular were hard as nails with advanced weaponry. I became best friends with the Prussian Emperor to not have to fight him.
Navally, I could have built a great armada, but with very inferior ships compared to Portugal and Spain.
Any war would have come with a large cost in war exhaustion, and the possibility of being attacked by many dangerous countries.
So I were no longer on the defensive, I could protect my Kingdom well.
But I could never have overrun any decent sized nation without a lot of trouble. (See from the dynamic cores, that there is not a lot of new aquisitions... not worth the risk)
