Un retoque a los colores de los paises, no es el Sexycolors del HOI2 pero mejora la cosa :D

While everybody waits for Sexxicolors to come out, I thought I'd make playing hoi3 a little more bearable for a few people. I messed around with the map colors for a couple of hours and this was the result:

I think it brightens it up, and makes everything easier to distinguish. If you feel the same way, the download link is at the top (in case you missed it).

Installation:
You can also use the launcher now, but not everybody has the launcher, and the launcher doesn't let you use multiple mods. The way I would do it is with the JSGME. Extract the folder "99 Problems" into your main Hearts of Iron III folder. Load up the JSGME and activate 99 Problems. Or you can just use the launcher. I've included both as options. All you have to do is extract.

Also done are Latin America and Oceania but I'm feeling too lazy to get the pictures. If you think a country should be a different color, post it. Or if you'd like to make some changes, you're free to do them yourself. It's gotten a lot easier since hoi2. There aren't the intimidating four rows and four columns of numbers anymore. Just r, g, b.

If you want to toy with the colors yourself, go into Paradox Interactive/Hearts of Iron III/common/countries, open up a file and the colors are right at the top. This color generator might help. Experiment!

Also, if anybody has figured out how to change the color of water, let me know :)

This is a veeery little mod so description is short:

This mod modifies few events to make annexing country in few events get annexed country's troops.

Following events are modified:

Anschluss of Austria

Soviet Union's Ultimatums to baltic states (Don't know is this historical but this balances game)

End of Tannu Tuva :)p)


This is done easily with only split_troops command but I made events for those who don't know how to do this.

Download attachment below and extract these to /Hearts of Iron III/events/

I have created an editor for the starting OOB's

I've attached the files as a RAR which you can just extract to any folder on your PC and then you run the Setup.

The program requires the .Net Framework 3.5 with SP1 to be installed. If you haven't already got it, then the Setup should download this for you. Otherwise, these can be downloaded from:

Features:

- OOB's displayed as a treeview that you can expand/contract (like the Outliner)

- Full drag-and-drop functionality, drag Divs from one Corps to another, Corps from one Army to another etc. Left drag to move, right drag to copy.

- Insert new Armies above Corps, Army Groups above Armies etc. and Corps below Armies

- Insert new Bde's, Ships and Air Wings into the correct type of unit

- Insert leaders

- The above are context sensitive, you can't drop a Theatre into a Div, or add a Ship into a Div. You can only create a leader if you are in the correct position in the tree (they go immediately under the location lines).

- Insert comment line where ever you require

- A province id look-up tool, enter the name and it will look-up the id for you, and to help distinguish with provinces with the same/similar names, it will display the regions/countries for each of them

- All of the provinces in the OOB's, either in the location or base fields are commented with the name, region and country information to help clearly identify where these are. It puts these in automatically on any file you open where there is not already a comment in the line. If you edit a line, just type in the prov id, hit Enter and it will add in the comment

- Creates a backup of the file you are working on (*.BAK) so if you make a mess of a file you can go back to the earlier version

- By default when first loaded it will look for the vanilla install files, but you can then navigate to your Mod folder and it will go back there the next time.

It is recommended that you make a copy of the original Unit files you want to Edit into your Mod folder first, then edit those rather then the original.

Obviously, provided as is:
- This version not Beta tested by anyone else
- It also doesn't check that what you type is correct, so if you delete one of the lines with a closing }, or you edit a line to have "teatre= {" then it's your fault if HOI3 CTD's!

Changelog version 1.3 from 1.2:
- Properly handles locations where there were missing spaces round "="
- Properly handles Military Construction
- Allows changing the Default HOI3 Directory Path
- Stores the current open/save file path to go back a Mod folder later, even after the app is closed and run again

Any comments/complaints gratefully received.

Junto al CORE y al Stony Road uno de los mayores mods guiris, quizas por tener tan buenos mods como el Mod34 y el Ars Belica hispanos no lo has llegado a conocer
 
Yo cuando pueda voy a empezar con un Mod de Revolters, ya que desaparecieron del juego, pero claro, hasta que FW no saque el juego y yo acabe examenes nada de nada :p

La verdad, es que estoy decepcionado y cansado a la vez.

Sacan algo confiando meramente en que luego sean los foreros y jugadores quién hagan los cambios.

En casi todos los posts sale que bueno, ya lo arreglará algun mod o algún forero, cuando esto no debería ser así. Los que hacemos modificaciones y demás no cobramos nada por ello, y es luego la compañia la que también se beneficia.

Personalmente me cansa mucho que desde que salio el hoi3 ya se está esperando algun mod que lo ponga todo correcto.

Espero que no le sepa mal que haya reproducido sus palabras y aprovecho para decir que el mod34 para el hoi3 aun tardara por salir, concretamente creo que ha dicho hasta que no saquen la expansion que arregle las cosas

My Iconized counter mod, in attempt to make the counter for land divisions in line with those of air / naval ones.

I think it looks more intuitive than these NATO counters.

alguien ha llegado a cambiar el color de los paises??? me de descargado el archivo hoi2.sexxicolors.rar que contiene 2 carpetas: db y map pero la primera no existe en el juego......
 
Si por alguna razón, alguien lo tiene en inglés, esto es lo que hay que hacer para pasarlo al castellano:

Abran el arcivo settings, que debe de estar en C:\Archivos de Programas\Paradox Interactive\Hearts of Iron III, y en la línea donde está escrito "language=l_english", cambiamos el english por spanish, para que nos quede así: "language=l_spanish". Guardamos el documento y listo, ya está en castellano. Ojo, que hay algunos defectos de traducción, pero no son nada del otro mundo.

PD: al sustituir los archivos que supuestamente arreglan el tema de "Arreglo para que no se pierdan las divisiones en el Aunchluss y demas anexiones", lo que hace es desactivar en diplomacia la opcion x ejemplo jugando con alemania desactivar el Aunchluss. Que alguien lo compruebe
