delra: No need for the islands though, given a base at Cartagena. As for ugliness, nah! No Italian empire can ever be ugly.
Judas Maccabeus: Too true.
Pier: Presumably no more real action till Danzig, yeah. But we'll see. I can't do anything with Albania yet, I think that decision has to occur in 1939. Nothing new with production, there'll be an update on technology after this next one. Not really planning on using Ethiopia at all. Where my fleet goes depends on how well I can secure the Med, and Malta is looking pretty tasty.
Enewald: Nah. Mussolini's main strategic objectives in Iberia are halfway to being accomplished, the other half not yet achieved is the conquest of Gibraltar.
slugo: Never gave it thought, actually. But I probably didn't have the capability to anyway--IIRC I only own one Spanish VP, at Murcia.
Cacahuananche: True about the mobile units, though on the other hand I never really expected that my intervention would take such a turn. I was surprised the Republicans lasted so long, really; I figured they were collapsing given the sheer dearth of units in the area until the very end. Also, resource advantage is minimal: .02 leadership, .75 manpower and 1.1 energy. Not planning on any airfields at the moment, I'm one of those people who don't think air supply is worth the effort unless it's a real emergency.
Vann the Red: Thanks! As for an event, Franco is probably pretty bitter than a fifth of his country isn't actually his any more, so I doubt he'd make any deals with Italy.
Palmyrene: Combat experience doesn't impact production, only research of doctrine AFAIK. Unit specific practical experience is what would affect build times and research and whatnot, but AFAIK that comes only from production.
Kman211: My overall plan is to do the minimum possible. Probably a level three or four port in the west, and improving Cartagena by a couple levels in the east as well. My plan for major war is to sit out of it until I'm ready, more or less. And then pounce.
I'll try to write an update tonight for tomorrow morning!
