Maybe because this old beta build isn't very stable, meaning that plenty of action is needed from the start.

If this was "Polish colour" then Poland occupies its own territory since the smaler stripes indicate that the current controller is not the legal owner. This doesn't make sence. I'd say they actually are Soviet occupied.

Chapter Seven: Defend Leningrad!
Early September the Soviets attempt to dislodge us from our position in front of Leningrad for the first time. Three tank divisions attack vigorously and without thinking twice. Frontal assaults come in one after another and these human waves break on our strong defensive positions. It is the Winter War all over again. Only this time we are defending Leningrad conquered Soviet ground instead of our own.
The battles rages for a week, when reinforcements, in the form of a mountain-division, arrive. Still the Soviets have not had enough Notwithstanding their huge losses they strike once more and the battle continues into its second week.
At the same time Mannerheim and the general-Staff think about the plans for the future. They could defend Finland from their new, advantageous position or march on Moscow in an attempt to aid the Germans in their struggle against the overwhelming Soviet forces. A third option is presented to him by one of the more timid officers: sue for peace. But the general in chief want to hear nothing about such it. Peace will only postpone the problem for a few years. The issue with the Soviets has to be settled now!
Typical, in the third week of September the first snow falls in Finland and the temperature drops below the freezing point (and I thought we had a bad climate...).
Mannerheim has to put his plans into effect soon or wait till spring.
Later that week the battle for Leningrad is decided, the enemy, broken but not shattered, digs in and awaits fresh reinforcements.
These are partisans.
So, what happened there? Is it Soviet or Polish territory?

I like the temperature map, if that is what the multi-coloured map is. It should come very handy for deciding when to settle down for the winter.
So, is Leningrad urban province (in this beta version)? I noticed that all three attackers were armoured divisions.
I think it's infra map...
