If possible, it would be nice if a republics-only "Elections" event sequence was coded that distributed minor titles to anyone who wanted them on a regular basis.;)
 
ohh yeah, a great idea, however it should be able for the player to turn off/on the funtion.. However I doubt that it is modable. :(
That is actually easy to implement. Just make a decision to turn it off. The decision gives a country flag preventing the events from firing.

The remark about the difficulty of modding was ment on the part of distributing the titles after a election... :D
 
This is already implemented in the [TECH] Elections for a second consul title. You can easily extend it to go for other titles as well, go silent (only announcing the player the results) as well as linking it to a law in order to allow/disallow elections (for all or for specific titles only).
