I'm experiencing crash when i enter ventilation system and when it says COLLAPSED on the wall, the game freezes and crashes. wtf? anyone knows how to fix this? i want to play this game so badly and no matter what i do i can't do that. please someone help.

What setup do you have an what OS are your running?

Well, I go up the ventilation after I got out of the cell at the beginning of the game, I turn right (I CAN SEE WORDS "COLLAPSED" WRITTEN ON THE WALL), I go a little further to those words and when I try to enter the ventilation passage to the left of those words the game freezes and then my computer restarts.
That's what happens.
My system:
Windows XP, SP 3
RAM: 2GB
Video Memory:128MB
I don't have this hpl.log file that you mentioned. My version of the game doesn't require install. It just starts.

Er... Im unfamiliar with that! Where did you get it from Steam or some other digital download site?
