The first time I saw that one province has 9 cores I thought: nice but record in hall of fame is about 12. Your post just made me realize how good it is.nice - got me!
It probably doesn't count but this is from a Steppe Wolf game. Every single nation has a core on Barbados. Even the rebels.

Has anyone an idea how Pewt managed to unify the Empire within 8 years? I can't see a way to accumulate the 500 needed Imperial Authority that fast.
There aren't any big territorial changes visible on the map. Austria even annexed land in Italy which should have given an additional IA reduction ...
Basically he became orthodox and then converted everyone in the Empire. There was a big thread where a bunch of people tried to guess how he did it.

Quite easy: The oirats captured a chinese city with very high population. The chinese built a colony there. The oirats burned it. Due to a strange bug the oirats gain .1 Infamy for every 100 Inhabitants of the city, not the colony as is intended. Thus you can easily gain 1k BB with the click of one button.
Just for confirmation. That bug, is it specific to the Death and Taxes Mod or can it be found in 5.1 vanilla too?

Can be found in vanilla too, in fact I think recent D&T versions fixed the bug by removing the Steppe hordes mechanic alltogether.
No idea, they are an OPM in eastern Kazakhstan and a vassal of Tibet.

For a long time they had been overtaken by Rebels.
I suppose it's worthy of mention that Chagatai also has about 150 infamy. They, too, are an OPM in middle of nowhere.
