Once I tried to read it. Once. I went through about a quarter of a book. The single word that summarizes my experience is "Gñé?"
I agree whole heartedly with this statement

A new Stalin scene Vincent, even more awesome and badass as the previous one! :D

Also, Mein Kampf? I didn't know libraries are even allowed to lend that one out!

Read The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx a while ago, really interesting.

One of the many blacklisted books. Even in free Canada, you would be hard pressed to find a copy.

Neve knew a place that borrowed Books, only in School I've seen it.
.
Now to Buy Mein Kampf it is quite easy. Altough everyone i know said that the book really suck. Go Read The Machinery of Freedom!

A prussian soldier never abandons his destiny, which is to serve the Kaiser or the König of Preussen.
Until death and even beyond.
He shall serve the Kaiser!!!:D

Ghent is having a 'Weimar Republic' day ATM, the fascist student unions are holding a protest, leading to counterprotests from the communists socialists anarchists whateverists and some other guys waving yellow flags. How do I know this? Because I live near Sint-Pietersplein and they're doing it right outside my bloody house. Where are the stahlhelm! order is needed, order! :D

1. Get yourself a shotgun.
2. Grow a moustache. (Or a full beard.)
3. Olden up so that you have gray hair.
4. Sit in front of the house on a rocking chair.
5. Wait for them to come.
6. Stand up and in the most Dixie voice you can make up, say "Get out of my property, you basterds!". Shoot your shotgun at the sky for more atmosphere.

They will not bother you again.

There are fascist students in Belgium

Belgian politics sounds much more interesting than Britain's :(

Last time Britain had a semi-credibly fascist movement was when the BUF was going bonkers in the 30s.

A few, actually. I could translate the names for you, but that wouldn't tell you much really because allmost all of them have the words National - Solidarity - Movement in their names. The funny thing is, although student politics are spicy and volatile, real Belgian politics have been center-right for decades, and everytime we vote, absolutely nothing changes. Dunno where all these fascists and communists go after college, I think they fly off to South-America for a Workers Revolution or something :p

Also, no update today because my internet here sucks, and has been sucking the the past four days. Laurence, could you take picket for me?

-Vincent

"Whatsha doin' here boy? Ye be trespassin' on me lawn naw?"
:D

Aah yes, Belgian politics, the only thing I hate more than ignorance, and believe me, I hate ignorance.

Anyway, one update coming up!

Oh yes before I forget, there is a voting going on in Raise the Crimson Banner, on how much Germany will be beefed. ;)

Four months later

Van Geyte, Mosley and De Nil stared at the typed documents in the center of the table. It was done. After four months of work. The Field Marshall grabbed the documents and read them aloud.

THE CHANNEL PACT
For harmonious expanse of nations

The Channel Pact will serve to further the Anglo-German dream of a united world. It’s main aim is to become a glorious bond of nations

GOALS:
-Uniting the German and British peoples in the Channel Pact strife
-Solving all existing nationalistic debates in a New World Order, aimed to procure an everlasting peace, a state of Pax Mundi for every man, woman and child on earth
-The Imperial Restoration of the British Empire, and consolidate her claim to superpower status.
-The uniting of a Greater German Empire and her ascension to superpower status
-The establishment of a new and stronger League of Nations, capable of guarding world peace.
-The immediate and indisputable destruction of all nations opposing the Channel Pact.

The Channel Pact is built around 10 Acts, which will be invoked as the situation requires.

Act One of the Channel Pact
The nations participating in the Channel Pact agree on open relations, and a cultural and economical exchange of raw materials and military equipment,
regardless of the state of these nations.

Act Two of the Channel Pact
All nations participating in the Channel Pact agree to guarantee each other’s national sovereignty, and agree to not intervene into any wars that these nations might become involved in unless the nation itself is threatened. Would this occur, Act Eight of the Channel Pact will be invoked.

Act Three of the Channel Pact
It is in the utmost importance of all nations participating in the Channel Pact that the state of Persia be invaded and occupied to serve the Pact’s further interests.

Act Four of the Channel Pact
If the nations participating in the Channel Pact have mutual interests in the same region, a joint summit is to decide over the future of possible interventions in this region.

Act Five of the Channel Pact
The Channel Pact will remain active until all goals and conditions set forth by the Channel Pact have been fulfilled. After this, a summit is to decide over the future of the Channel Pact

Act Six and Seven of the Channel Pact
On the 15th of August, 1941, a joint summit is to be held in the British Capital to decide on the future of the Channel Pact. Several terms will have to be met before this summit can occur

Act Eight of the Channel Pact – (The Prime act, Act of the Pact)
If, for any reason, a state of war is to come into existence between the nations participating in the Channel Pact and the Allied states of France, Australia, South-Africa, New Zealand and Canada that would threaten the national sovereignty of any nation in the Channel Pact, the Eight Act will be invoked. The Channel Pact will then serve as a binding military alliance between all nations of the Channel Pact. The Channel Pact will not dissolve until total victory has been achieved.
Long live the glorious bond of nations!

Act Nine of the Channel Pact
If a sovereign states wishes to join the Channel Pact, the Head of State can request to sign the Ninth Act of the Channel Pact. Before this can occur, the country in question will have to meet certain criteria: A transparent and stable government, a strong economy and a military that refrains from committing war crimes. When joining, the nation must cede control of it’s military to the Channel Pact Joint Head Command, to organise a coordinated strategy.

Act Ten of the Channel Pact
The Tenth Act, or the Final Act, will be invoked after total Pact hegemony has been attained. It’s contents will remain under wraps until that day.

Van Geyte grinned.
“Good”
“Are you ready, then? Your plane is waiting.” Vincent responded
Without further ado, the Field Marshall stood up and grabbed his bag. Today, he looked like the energetic cunning young general he had once been, and he was ready to act accordingly.
“I will take Germany. She is mine.”
The men shook hands, and Van Geyte left the house, where a car was waiting to escort him to the airport.

Thanks for filling in for me, Laurence :p

On a sidenote, it's a warzone out here right now. An hour ago, police just streamed onto the plain from every street to break up the protest, waterspewing tanks, armoured busses, riot police, the road show. every road is shut off, walls of shields everywhere. I've never seen so much blues in my life . Totally over the top. I have some pictures, I'll post them in the readers group when I have some time off tomorrow

I'm off

Cheers,
Vincent

is there a link to the readers' group?
also, like the new TRP byline

So, they already knew in 1920 that they would meet on August 15th 1941?:D
