Of course its possible?

Just create the nations with corresponding tech teams, leaders and ministers in the database.

Apply necessary grahpics like flag & shield.

Change the following in provinces.csv in databasefolder with accurat information (i.e. just copy the Osijekprovince text and replace everything without 2603:pROV260):

Create a .inc for that country, ex. Serbia with all their nationalprovinces in that bracket. And add ONLY province 2603 in owned and controlled. Add tag SER in scenarios .eug file.

When Serbia is "formed", in that meaning it gets real provinces, just make sure its by event let another event move the capital.

But even though its possible to have an country off-map... I'd rather go to be able to play for startup? Wouldn't like to have to wait until I get provinces and can start building my country, my army, etc.

Yeah, I think we stay from ground idea for the BETA, later we may have more scenarios start earlier and later 1991.

But that's were I'm 99% you're wrong, you can load as an off-map nation. Every and single time I've been modding something for HOI2, I always create a "watcher-nation" to keep track of how the AI behaviour.

If you keep those provinces like this, perhaps it wont work:

But if you make that province look like this, it always worked for me:

By doing what I just did, I'm sure to get my capital and only core province where Paris is now situated but without having the actualcore.

If I then un-pause the game, it plays without probs. If I have events that gives me provinces, everythings fine and one can start play 4 real, but one do need to change capital via event as well, but that ain't to much troubel that either.

Hi, again.
This week i start working again, so map making has slowed again (well, slowed not, because during vacation time i wasn't able to do as much work as i would like to do :( ). Albania is now done and i have started Macedonia. I expect during next week colour map would be done and then i will start testing... cross your fingers.

Its simple and cool. Could be used as alternative screen.
Before that fix the yug flag, teh pixels hurt my eye :p
