    Magna Mundi Platinum christmas '08 Edition - Baja Aqui!





    List of changes:


    Bugs:

    - Fixed bug with a wrong scope in Bakufu rebels definition
    - Fixed a rare bug where twice as many (and somewhat schizophrenic) bakufu armies could appear in some provinces
    - The event granting governorship of a fief should now properly target the new owner of it in all cases
    - The "Rice Famine" event should now fire occasionally during the Sengoku (or afterwards in some situations)
    - Ryukyuan monarchs should now not have a double title by accident
    - All country forming decisions should now properly grant a higher rank (up to apoint)
    - Fixed a localisation error in the "Hierarchial Society" event
    - Added a ship model for late game that was missing, causing a giant soldier to go around in the sea
    - The Bakufu can no longer become the Ashikaga (to avoid ending the Sengoku Jidai through core loss), but now cedes all its provinces to them in the case that the Ashikaga disappear, there is no shogun and the Bakufu owns Kyoto
    - The administrative efficiency bonus for viceroys should not jump around any longer when colonizing inland provinces (or if it does, it should be more gradual)
    - Venice starts now allied to Naples and not inexistent Sicily in 1453
    - Fixed a rare CTD in the Forge Core spy mission
    - Upon formtion, Netherlands is now the owner of its core provinces
    - Jewish and Knights advisors can now be assassinated like any others
    - HRE bug fixes as of SRI 21/12
    - Fixed a rare CTD in the vassalization system
    - Fixed a tag in the wahaby option
    - Provincial taxes complaints on High Tax provinces are now working right
    - History file for the Ottomans complete now until the end game
    - Province lost in civil war should now present the right options
    - Becoming Shah of Persia now properly adds a core on Karbala
    - Forming Persia will no longer remove cores on Baluchi, Kurdish, Pashtun, Tajihk or Iraqi provinces
    - Forming Persia should now properly convert some provinces to Shiite (once), giving the Safavids a better starting position
    - Fixed a rare CTD bug where a human player who became Persia while at war with them could freeze the game trying to negotiate with themselves
    - The Battle at Lipany event can now fire only once, not repeatedly until the Hussite situation is resolved
    - Hinggan province now has a history after 1452
    - The game now properly checks the status of Persia when determining whether to spawn Nationalist rebels, Patriot rebels or Persian regulars in the Qizilbash event
    - Players should now get cores on Japan when forming a new Bakufu even if they do not save and reload first...although it is always recommended that you do so anyway when changing country tags!
    - The Sobujirei modifier now has a description
    - Fixed a CTD bug caused by late-game independence movements
    - Various localization fixes
    - Byzantium could reform Byzantium through decision. No more
    - Fixed a CTD in a Emperor mission to build a shipyard
    - The Curia Controller may now choose to sign a concordat with the pope if he owns Rome, just like any other country
    - Muslim Dragoons are now properly researched later
    - Japanese missions now properly fire for Japan not the Bakufu
    - Players now properly receive money when selling off heathen temples by event
    - You will no longer be asked to destroy a temple after building one in an already-owned heathen province
    - The General Church Council called event will no longer show a long list of countries
    - Each nationalism event should now have the proper text instead of being "Irish" and "Ukrainian"
    - The Kingdom of Prussia decision should now not remove your cores until you become Prussia
    - Fixed CTD due to Syria not completely defined in the mod
    - Fixed CTD due to Achaea not completely defined in mod
    - More titles for rulers of countries in Africa, Armenia, Persia, Russia and India
    - Minor bug in the AI formation of Spain fixed
    - Only Naxos, Athens, Achaea, Morea, Cyprus and Corfu may form Greece. They must also be Christian
    - Closed a loophole in the Colonial Independence events where an entire region could avoid suffering an independence war in some circumstances
    - Tracked down a bug that was screwing with the Renaissance
    - Burgundy will now change government when it becomes a kingdom
    - Only one vassal can now break free per event
    - The Standardization of Church Liturgy event now has proper localisation even if you do not have a theologian advisor
    - The introduction of heresy event ought to work properly even with heathen religions now
    - Fixed the description of the "Drastic Measures" event. I am sure now people understand what is it all about and take advantage of it
    - The "Rooting Out Corruption" event can now only fire in provinces affected by church corruption, so should no longer spam Catholic colonizers
    - Consolidated two triggered modifiers so that in the late game, the curia controller will have one less icon cluttering up his screen
    - Fixed a bug with the AI logic of picking NIs based on country size
    - Fixed Madeira and Azores events for Portugal giving colonists long after colonization happened
    - Fixed a bug where a wrong-religion colony converted to the state religion by sending another colonist could end up resisting conversion because that last colonist was enough to make it into a city
    - Several countries such as Brittany now have their proper starting cores (they were not receiving them because the cores were wrong-culture but had no date)






    Gameplay:


    - It is now much harder to cling to conquests on barbary coast provinces once occupied by their ancestral owners
    - Global Stability now affects Prestige decay.
    - Negative Stability now affects Prestige decay.
    - Negative Stability now affects army and navy tradition decay
    - MIL rating of ruler now affects army and navy tradition decay
    - Max war exhaustion reduction given by DIP reduced to avoid negative war exhaustion situations
    - Yearly army and navy tradition reduction increased
    - Vassals do not break while a truce is in effect with their overlords
    - Removed Byzantium core from Trebizon after 29/5/1453
    - Lots of new accurate detail for far east countries (courtesy of Ese Khan)
    - Lots of new accurate detail for far east provinces (courtesy of Ese Khan)
    - Lots of new accurate detail for far east diplomacy (courtesy of Ese Khan)
    - Lots of new accurate detail for far east wars (courtesy of Ese Khan)
    - Players may now see exactly which two daimyo are being considered for the position of kanrei
    - Choosing to reject the position now makes the player much less likely to be offered it again immediately
    - Rebellious daimyo will now see exactly which lord is being offered your fief if the shogun threatens to give it to another clan
    - AI will also pick the clan much more intelligently.
    - When the army of the shogun attacks, the attack will be immediate.
    - Bureaucracy got nerfed in the inflation reduced bonus
    - Reviewed penalties from discovery in Spy Missions. Penalties significantly decreased for the vast majority of them
    - Increased build time of many buildings
    - Increased bonus of Tax Acessors to 0.12% Inflation Reduction
    - Increased bonus of Constable to 35% of Direct Tax
    - Master of Mint will be more common if inflation is high or National Bank is chosen
    - Upon formation from a rebellion and when at war with the previous owner, Netherlands will field a sizeable army immediately
    - New Infiltrator spy mission. He will blend within the target country until the right time to strike... on his own!
    - Changed assassinate ruler spy mission mechanics
    - HRE Adjustments as of SRI 21/12
    - New decision to match the culture of the capital to the State.
    - Seeking a higher title is a bit easier if a player has a LvL 5 Diplomat OR a LvL 5 Statesman
    - Improved eastern provinces setup
    - Fortifications rebalance
    - Ultimatum costs are now tied to country income
    - Civil war costs is now tied to country income
    - Effects of weather harsher for garrisons. Winter will now be merciless for those outisde as well as those inside of the walls
    - Fuggers decision changed. It is not a nobrainer anymore
    - Changed "Backstab" event. It does not add penalties to stability anymore. It is harder to lose vassals while concessions are in effect.
    - It should be slightly easier to unify fiefs after Japan is unified (but not by much)
    - Eastern Orthodox countries now view Aleppo as the rightful seat of the Patriarch of Antioch, while Oriental Orthodox countries view Damascus as his seat and thus a holy land
    - When Persia forms by event, its first monarch will have a somewhat higher ADM and much higher MIL than normal
    - The cost of elections is now set at 1/24 of annual income instead of 1/12 per election
    - Several Catholic events will now fire less often for larger countries
    - Dead Hand of the Church will cost more in compensation
    - Dharmic and Pagan countries converting to Catholic by event should no longer suffer +1 BB per province owned when the game assumes they've conquered their now wrong-religion provinces
    - Colonial rebels spawned by event will now usually be allied with the country they intend to form
    - Made it slightly easier (but not more likely) for Japan to convert to Christianity
    - Status Quo effects changed. Smaller counries given generous reputation reduction but also higher prestige decay
    - Increased missionaries cost bonus from Divine Supremacy
    - Fine tunned France AI
    - War Taxes now contribute for a greater increase of war exhaustion
    - AI now follows the same rules as the player to pick advanced ideas
    - Balkans Balance of Power slightly revised. Hungary should prove a slightly softer nut to crack to the Ottomans.
    - Changed Ottoman missions to give bigger rewards in relation to cores on conquered provinces
    - All policies and NIs that modified stability costs got changed. Regarding policies, general positive effects are less pronounced while a specific side bonus of stability investment was added. An additional penalty to stability costs is included as a specific side penalty.
    - Religions bonus to stability cost modifiers got nerfed
    - Russian Patriarchate bonus to max war exhaustion was halved. Constant war exhaustion reduction was added
    - Reworked the spy mission failure penalty to be much less severe in most of the cases
    - Reworked the revolution & Counter idea. The event now is much more likely to fire. Check the NI description
    - Made it easier to understand how to enact the "Barbary Pirate's Sunset" decision
    - AI Austria, after unification, cannot be forced to release Austrian minors anymore
    - Added new monarch titles for Manchu, Mongol and Dutch countries
    - It is somewhat easier to form the nation of Italy
    - New temples introduced based on historic research. Balanced with gameplay issues
    - New map by Strannik
    - The Reformation should be a bit more realistic for pre-1453 starts
    - Claims cannot be successful and unsuccesful anymore
    - The "Hardnut to Crack" is either cracked or not
    - Document forgery is either successful or not
    - Gotland got the axe
    - The unpopular "Dead Hand of the Church" event can now only happen once per province
    - Most church corruption events can now fire during schisms, but they will still be less common than when the church is united
    - When a country captures a holy land from a heathen country, they will receive a special congratulatory event and gain a one-time prestige and relations award
    - The overlord now has a special possibility to prevent one of his vassals from breaking. Espionage and better yet, Internal Security are very important for his chance to be properly given
    - The overlord can now order a spy mission to check how a specific vassal feels about him
    - When a country captures a holy land from a heathen country, they will receive a special congratulatory event and gain a one-time prestige and relations award
    - Decisions to give mainly the Ottomans (can be others, if carefully planned) to turn greek, bulgarian and serbian cultures accepted for a muslim nation
    - The bonuses given to the papal controller have been updated to be more attractive to choose a corrupt pope
    - Once per corrupt pope, the papal controller may receive thanks from the papal states by event (it will not happen while the Papal States is at war, is poor,or does not exist)
    - Many more religious modifiers such as bishops and monasteries now affect the number of missionaries the country receives
    - The Curia Controller may no longer suffer the Church Meddling event (and its effects are slightly different)
    - Choosing to protest corruption now adds revolt risk in that province temporarily but cuts the related modifier by half instead of only 10-30%
    - The type of pope now has a greater influence over how frequent corruption events are
    - The AI will use spy missions more frequently
    - Austria tax income nerfed
    - France now takes special interest in Brittany
    - France now takes special interest int hose English continental possessions
    - France now tries to build a colonial empire in the far east
    - France now attempts to bring Brittany into vassalization
    - Reworked AI penalties for colonization
    - Added descriptions to AI modifiers
    - Cultural shift requirements are now more visible
    - Ottomans now should pose a threat to Constantinople in pre 1453 starts

    Quatro questões:

    - Axl Madness, peço desculpa (tambem ao Cabezaestufa). Iriei colocar o item das bandeiras resolvido.

    - Obrigado Kosh por teres movido o hillo para o forum certo!

    - O mod corre com a ultima versão beta. Com a versão 3.1 "sai al escritorio" no ledger. Não sei se terá mais alguns problemas.

    - Juro que o facto de Aragão declarar guerra a Castela imdiatamente após o jogo começar nada tem a haver com um plano maquiavelico deste lado da fronteira!
    Hoje vou lançar um minipatch e talvez solucione isso.

    - Reassessement of colonial tax base is now unique
    - Flag border color solved


    Gameplay:

    - The AI diplomatic threshold for most of the spy missions was lowered. Expect more spy activity.
    - Rebalanced a few advisors
    - Hopefully (not thouroughly tested!) Aragon will think twice before declaring war to Castille in 1453 in the day the game starts
