Gameplay:
- It is now much harder to cling to conquests on barbary coast provinces once occupied by their ancestral owners
- Global Stability now affects Prestige decay.

- Negative Stability now affects army and navy tradition decay
- MIL rating of ruler now affects army and navy tradition decay
- Max war exhaustion reduction given by DIP reduced to avoid negative war exhaustion situations

- Players may now see exactly which two daimyo are being considered for the position of kanrei
- Choosing to reject the position now makes the player much less likely to be offered it again immediately
- Rebellious daimyo will now see exactly which lord is being offered your fief if the shogun threatens to give it to another clan
- AI will also pick the clan much more intelligently.

- All policies and NIs that modified stability costs got changed. Regarding policies, general positive effects are less pronounced while a specific side bonus of stability investment was added. An additional penalty to stability costs is included as a specific side penalty.
- Religions bonus to stability cost modifiers got nerfed
- Russian Patriarchate bonus to max war exhaustion was halved. Constant war exhaustion reduction was added
- Reworked the spy mission failure penalty to be much less severe in most of the cases
- Reworked the revolution & Counter idea. The event now is much more likely to fire. Check the NI description

- Decisions to give mainly the Ottomans (can be others, if carefully planned) to turn greek, bulgarian and serbian cultures accepted for a muslim nation
- The bonuses given to the papal controller have been updated to be more attractive to choose a corrupt pope
- Once per corrupt pope, the papal controller may receive thanks from the papal states by event (it will not happen while the Papal States is at war, is poor,or does not exist)
- Many more religious modifiers such as bishops and monasteries now affect the number of missionaries the country receives
- The Curia Controller may no longer suffer the Church Meddling event (and its effects are slightly different)
- Choosing to protest corruption now adds revolt risk in that province temporarily but cuts the related modifier by half instead of only 10-30%
- The type of pope now has a greater influence over how frequent corruption events are
- The AI will use spy missions more frequently
