6) General Country Info

Its 1388, Europe is in the clutch of Tyranny and the war between England and France is big news. The city state of Bordeaux manages to escape from English dominance and declares independency. The same thing happens for the city state of Barcelona who is under rule of Aragon. She too manages to declare itself independent. The two cities have already had a long history with each other and decide to ally with each other. Together they conquer big chunks of France and Spain. The other English holdings in South France are taken by Bordeaux and Navarra fell soon after. Because of those actions, Aragon felt threatened and declared war on the Bordeaux-Barcelona Alliance. Aragon, against all odds, gets defeated by the newly formed and highly professional Bordeaux-Barcelona troops. Even getting aid of Castille did not work in favor of Aragon, even they got humiliated by the young confederation, as their army was exhausted from a recent war against Algeria and Morocco. This was all in favor of Bordeaux-Barcelona and they aquired much territory. From here on they decided to form a confederation, named the Confederate Provinces of Barceloneaux. Their aim would be free trade and no tyranny, however, with France in the north, will they survive for long?

Nice new nations. I've been updating Battledale every so often...making it more of a Norman/French/English/Welsh mix.
