This is my first AAR of WiF mod.
Purpose of this AAR:Con/CENSORED Liberate People of World under suppression of capitalists!

Start Year:1936(But this AAR is from Operation Barbarossa)

As a War broke out between Germany and USSR,Comrade Stalin ordered commanders of Front line.
No Retreat!No one step buckwards!



The battle line is so fixed.
Stalin: Zhukov!Why don't you attack fascist invaders and reach warsaw?
Zhukov: But,Comrade Stalin!Germany reacts so quickly and sends more troops to defense position!We need second line to divide Wehrmacht.
Stalin: I hope Brits invades France or Italy.
Zhukov: Anyway,We need more tanks to break enemy line!


At first,Red Army crushed weaker Romanian and Hungarian troops easily.
Attack seemed have succeeded,but German reacts was so quickly to hold line.

Lend-Lease!Thanks!USA sends so many tanks and trucks,airplanes,supplies!
WiF Lend-Lease is better than that of vanilla.

But,so many tanks requires too much oil.
Then,Comrade Stalin asked people of persia to trade-What!?persia doesn't sell oil to USSR?Then,this is the answer!

Invasion?Net!It's liberation!


Obsolete american tanks,but they are still useful.
Liberate people of persia and for oil trade!

with iran soviets will controll like 2/3 worlds largest oil reserves in few years but in game it doesen't happen so invading iran is useless ;[

How did you manage to hold the line with that number of divisions???
In every single WiF game for the soviet union I had to retreat at least to the daugava - dnepr line. With a GDE of only 0.6 it seemed impossible to me to win even a single battle, no matter how much troops were involved.

And persia is a puppet of the UK, so wouldn`t a DOW on them automatically put you at war with the allies?

No,Iran is still not puppet of UK.


January 28,World was surprised by action of turkey.
In WiF,Japan joins axis after PH event and USSR and japan signs white peace automatically.
But,Turkish war upon japan means war between Germany and Turkey.
Comrade Stalin worried about surrender of turkey and sends troops to prepare for defense of Baku.

Stalin:Hey,why those turks decided to go to war against japanese?
Beria:I didn't receive any information about this sudden DOW....turks and germany had good relationship,I remember.

Retreat or Fight to end?

As spring came,Germany tried to advance again.
Casuality was getting higher and higher and injuries of Red Army showed how merciless this war.


Vasilevsky fights for mother russia!


Zhukov's armored divisions fights so bravely but Germany has well trained soldiers!



Red Army changed tactics,first retreat and crush enemy speerhead with maximum fire power.


Comrade!Kill the Fascists!



Shortage of manpower will be scerious ploblem soon.

Later,I decided to stop producing of CAS because ground attack is not so effective in WiF mod and Casuality of CAS is too high!

i've never seen manpower shortages for russia this early on. could be nasty. getting rid of that militia division and more if there are any will help a bit. might as well equip your men as well as you can.

In WiF mod,shortage of manpower can happen easily because WiF AI is smarter than vanilla and longer battle and faster units make big battle easily.
And I made militia to avoid enemy bombing but even WiF AI is not good at using Air Force as human does.
Militia is useless.

ah right sorry didnt realise that you were using the longer battle mods. theyr good - it always seems weird when a battle involving 300000 soldiers only lasts 8 hours. but you're right, its a bugger for manpower, from my limited experience in mod33.

Hm, seems like the Germans are inflicting quite heavy losses to your troops, but even if they advance they'l soon become overstretched though Soviet Union is a ***** when it comes to logistics.

No need to involve germany to inner russia.
German casuality is high,too.And USSR will strike buck with massive armored divisions

According to some report from front line,germany took too much casuality and shortage of soldier is scerious ploblem.

In contrast,military factories in ural and siberia produce thousands of T-34.


But german is not easy enemy,they decided to advance southern plain fields where panzer　can use own speed and armor.

Red army is fighting brutal war,but a good news from spain encouraged soldiers.

Finally,Comrades of Spain took over fascist rebellions of franco.
Experienced volunteer of Red Army returned to USSR and joined war agains Fascist Nazi invaders.
