As I always remove whatever things I can that has to do with lucky I thought that there are perhaps other people doing the same. So to make it easier I created this small mod that only needs to be unpacked and everything that can be modded and has the lucky tag has been removed.

114 events are modified to remove the advantages that certain nations get with the lucky tag. In general the events doubled up the chance to get a good event and halfed the chance of getting a bad event. Some of the events are quite powerful so it makes a big difference in the long run.

I also removed the instant modifiers a nation have with the lucky tag.

There are some hardcoded modifiers I can't do anything with. Among them are that Lucky nations do get better monarchs.

Anyway here are the files. Just unzip it to your Europa universalis 3 directory and the files will be unzipped in your mod directory.

When you start a new game change the mod to play to LessLucky.

Nice work. I removed some Lucky benefits from my Decostructed mod and moved them over to give (or not) to Great Nations. I'm think about the modifiers in events and such ....

Since Great Nation status is earned, maybe I'll change the modifiers over ... hmmmm ... I think you just gave me more work to do ...
