Someone requested a religious map of the war. Here it is.

The Ping pong game ends with our army utterly crushed on the 7 January 1513. No one survived except Thomas I, who saved by descending angels.

That was a lucky but implausible escape.. are you sure your beloved archbishop didn't really survive by dressing as a Yemeni woman, enrolling a Berber ship and cooking for pirates for 3 months until he made it back to Malta?

Never :D

It was a heavenly host. Everything else is infidel slander. And that burka in the corner is the latest in cassock from Rome and not a woman's dress.

The end of 1513 looks bright for the knights. We have kicked the infidel out of Fengyuan and besiege the city.

Since we have the money and the manpower we recruit a new Landsknecht regiments for the grater cause (Jan 1514)

Yemen is not taking this lying down and attacks us in Jinan mid January. It is an even battle but we win it within a week.

Jinanbattle.jpg

Then they attack us in Fengyuan.

Fools! We beat them to a pulp and continue the siege

More troops are shipped over to help us with the war!

The war looks like it is going our way, the war score is going down.

The future is bright the future is Knightly blue!

Perhaps the tide has turned.

We win another battle against the Yemenites

Battle1.jpg

On the home front this event kicks off. Hopefully it won’t spill over into our domestic affairs.

Things are hoting up in Fengyuan

Battle2.jpg

And goes down the drain. WE loose the battle and retreat to Indus

Battle3.jpg

During the retreat we apparently beat up a small army

hennan.jpg

Our army reaches Indus but there is no peace for the wicked. Luckily for us the wicked win.

indus-1.jpg

Then disaster strikes. Our cunning plan has been to transport more and more soldiers from my homeland has relied on our trusted one man fleet. Alas it sinks June…

It think this might be called putting all one's eggs in one basket, or perhaps in one ship :)

After the sad loss of our trusty cog AKA The Holy Armada, we take the swift decision to try out the latest in troop transports. A loan of 21 ducats will allow us to build a Flyte. Only snag is that it won’t be ready until the end of the year…

Flyte.jpg

At least we are given some good news on the war front in July 1514. Kashmir has been agreed to a white peace. Sadly it does not lower the war score.

In Yemen the battle rages ferociously on. The Yemenites are attacking us like a tidal wave.

tidalwave.jpg

Our brave boys are slowly hacked to pieces. After over two moths of fighting we lose the battle of Indus and 33% of the men in our 5th army. In Jinan we are outnumbered almost 4 to 1 AND they have their ruler at the helm of the battle. To add to our woes, our new fleet won’t be ready for another 3-4 months.

induslost.jpg

More Woe for us. We loose the battle of Jinan on the 3rd of October and are forced to retreat to Quetta

Towardsistan.jpg

Jinan falls after 33 days, but at least we manage to fight of the Infidel in Sistan. The 5th army swept the infidel away whilst marching towards Quetta.

Quetta.jpg

The New Year does not only bring loads of fresh ducats (not really sure what is going on here but I seem to be able to tax my subjects beyond rim and reason) but also Prod tech 4

prodtech4.jpg

At the end of March our new Flyte is finally ready to deliver its first batch of fresh soldier. “We will be home by Christmas” Cries Thomas I as he rides into battle. We win. Glory to God!

Quetta2-1.jpg

The Yemenites won’t take this defeat lying down and attacks us with a massive army led by Muhammas II. Our fleet is collecting more troops from the homeland.

Muhammas.jpg

During the heroic battle Thomas I dies and we are now ruled by Johannes II. God help us.

Johannes.jpg

In June we reaches trade tech 5 but the battle is not going well in Quetta. Help is on its war. More men are being transported over from Lapland.

LAPLAND-1.jpg

(Must have missed a screenshot here. We have been booted out of Quetta and are now battling with the Yemenites in Fengyuan)

We have beaten the enemy in Fengyuan and are tying to get out of the war by offer them Gilan.

Gilandeal.jpg

Our army is slowly rebuilding itself in Fengyuan and more are on its way over.

moremen.jpg

On the 14 of December Yemen offer us this deal. We decline.

yemdeal.jpg

OK we will not be back home by Christmas but we have at least sunk a part of the Yemenite fleet.

ocean.jpg

On the 1st of March 1516 we get the same deal again from Yemen. We decline. The siege is going well and for some reason the Yemenites are not attacking us.

March.jpg

The tide might be turning. Fengyuan has fallen into our righteous hands.

fall-1.jpg

Yemen tries to broker a new peace with us but we decline.

peace3.jpg

And then a miracle happens. We offer Yemen a white peace and they accept!
