Here is the current models.csv file (will be updated) : http://www.sendspace.com/file/ssp3tf

The current unit_names.csv with the general models list : http://www.sendspace.com/file/ikulh1

I've already entered the general models for batallions. But we need to enter country-specific models (Pak for German Anti-Tank for example). I hope i've been clear.

is it really historical to have light and heavy infantry? in wiki I wound this "By the late 19th century the concept of fighting in formation was on the wane and the distinctions between light and heavy infantry began to disappear. Essentially, all infantry became light infantry in practice. Some regiments retained the name and customs, but there was in effect no difference between them and other infantry regiments." in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Light_infantry

This is 49h's idea and from now no one discussed it. I'm always surprised that when we ask if a suggestion is good, no one disagrees and much time after this, some says he disagree. Why did not you tell this earlier ?

PS : we are here to talk about anti-tank, tank-destroyers etc models, not infantry. There is a general thread for this.

well, i can't be as informed about all threads and all info as you are, i saw infantry here, thats why i post it ;) plus, i thought about that just 10 minutes ago. i don't object, just wanted to see reasoning behind that, thats it.

We need to form a team for the models. The guys would choose which model to add for which nation (for the batallions). For example, they would choose which Anti-Tank model should have Germany in 1938 etc.

I can help with Soviet ones, perhaps.

Also, I suppose, it would be great, to have two different sorts of CAG (we can use 1-4 for one of them and 6-9 for another one).
Carrier Strike AG (bombers + torpedo bombers + dive bombers) - bonuses to sea attack and shore attack, bigger range, medium supply consumption.
Carrier Air Superiority AG (fighters + scout planes) - big bonuses to air attack, air defence, sea detection and submarine detection.

that would create a choice between using carriers as a strike force and as a strong AA-protection.

Why not but We-Are-Not-Talking-About-This.
If you other suggestions please post them in the general thread.
This thread is dedicated to form a team for T.H.E. models (or at least to try because i guess no one is interested to make the dirty work but only to play when T.H.E. mod is finished).

If I'm not too late, I'd like to suggest making artillery model 0 to some "great war artillery" and model 1 to 36. Perhaps even two models for pre-36 artillery since there seems to be models left. This would perhaps help in making difference between the greater powers and smaller countries when the artillery brigades (and other brigades/perhaps even divisions) would have larger quality differences than is gotten by having model 0 as 1936 vintage.

We start in 1938 and i don't want more models.
if you want to rework the actual models, write a proposition but i won't add a 9th model for ART.

Very well, it's your choice. It was just a suggestion.

Ok... I'll take Germany... if I can
Actually, I just took a look at the file, ce n'ait rien que du chinois pour moi in other words, I don't understand a think, so instead, I'll keep giving my thoughts on the project and I'll try and help out with the events, I should be able to do that...

Panther II divisional picture

I don't know if you can use this, but I made a nice picture of a Panther II tank for a mod of mine. You could use it. BTW: do you use colour or black-and-white pictures, I have a colour version as well.
