I am unsure about doing it in c++. What I was imagining was doing something in Python.

The c++ plan was just for my own purposes.
But if you get the time, python sounds as a good idea.

Which version did you use?
And when you say 300 million, you mean literally?
Like before 80 now 300?

yes, first about 80, then to about 320 mil, using newest pop splitter

Hey there! I have successfully used this tool quite a few times, and it works wonders!

Now, I've ran into a problem: For some reason, I am unable to split any POP's in Czechoslovakia (ahistorical scenario, I am trying to split Craftsmen and Clerks only) - not sure why is that - here's the code I used:

I could perhaps change it, so it wasn't case sensitive. But I'm not sure it's worth making a new version just for that.

I think I found the bug that increases the population so much.
If you configure the Pop Splitter, so that one of the resulting Pops is smaller than 10.000, then it's adding a 0 for some reason. So if you split a 36.000 pop 75-25, you'll get one 27.000 pop and one 90.000 pop (instead of 9.000).
