AGC-EEP is a mod for EU2, or in fact almost a whole new game. It is a combination of 2 older mods

- Alternative Grand Campaign
- Event Exchange Project

This mod, has its own sub-forum here and website

Well I had some guesses that it is a mod, but I weren´t sure. Thank you Veldmaarschalk!

PS. Which order I should install the DVIP? I´m confused.

..that this dynasty name Raoul-Rallis..I believe this dynasty-name must be changed...I remember also, that once I had mentioned that the ruling dynasty of Kingdom of Trebizond was Megas Komnenos (= Great Komnenos) not Rubenid..I think that the same is about "Raoul-Rallis". Why not change the dynasty name of this Andronikos/David into ""Dalassenos" (his father's dynasty name) or into "Dalassenos-Komnenos" (a combination of his father's and mother's dyn. names)?
After all, Crusader Kings is a game with a strong historical base (in fact a good occasion to study history of middle ages), but it is still a game, not an encyclopedia or even a discourse or thesis on medieval history. So, I think that also all these nicknames should be removed, they make all starting characters with nicknames bogus  , because, I repeat, CK is not an encyclopedia, it is a game.
But this is only my opinion.

Alot of the ppl I made governor of x province was based on a text somewhere saying they had property or were governor of another town (not always the provincial capitol) & I prefer that to some char 'of x province'.

You make a fair pt with the Raoul-Rallis (I personally created it cause they were the two most common spellings) but your welcome to change for the next release. Maybe Raoul for generation 1 (the migrant) then Rallis thereon?

The 'Megas Komnenos' used in Trebizond is actually a title one of its rulers invented to compensate for their inability to recapture Constantinople & be Emperor of the Roman Empire. But the surname should be 'Komnenos' not Rubenid (which I think I've already posted changes to PM me if I haven't)

With your Dalassenos\Komnenos proposal, I can't rem the exact details but I think the Norman founder of the 'Rallis' dynasty wed someone from the Dalassenos family & their child adopted his mother's family name to 'fit in' with the Byzantines. One or two generations later their family fortunes were on the asent while the Dalassenos name was not so they choose another name Rallis or Raoul. So a quick byzantine history lesson is the offspring generally went by the name of the more prestigious family they were tied to.

Finally your pt about CK being a game not an encyclopedia is true but I'm against the removal of nicknames as we need them..

1) Too many chars have the same firstnames already
2) Too few of us could readily id a hist char with their nickname (eg Frederick 'Barbarossa', William 'the Conqueror' etc)
3) Makes is easier for modders like me to find them

Changelog for DVIP version Next:

Database:
Al-Muratibids are now Almoravids
More historically correct flag for Almoravids
'Pneumonia' is now called 'Consumption'
Event: 'Leave_court' has been replaced with a defect to random neighbour to prevent courtiers from not leaving at all
Event: Non-christians in the knight orders are now killed off sooner to prevent muslim or pagan Grandmasters
Enabled and fixed AI event 8010 'Having been separated by your circumstances for some time, you've re-discovered your close kinship with your brother'
Prevented a few more incestuous possibilities by adding is_sibling workaround checks

1066:
Further revisions to Almoravids: future king is now a sheik not a courtier, law changed, etc.
Fes is independent
Some Armenians and Georgians have adopted the Orthodox faith instead of the Roman heresy
Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Lothian changed to Monastic Supremacy instead of Ecclesiastical Balance to better represent religious authority of the regions

1187:
Hospitaler Knights are a duchy-level vassal of Jerusalem to help them survive
Knights Templar exist as a duchy-level vassal of Jerusalem, capital Hebron
Stephanie de Milly has been placed in the 'de Toron' dynasty to allow her son to succeed
Progon count of Epirus has the same dynasty as his sons now

1337:
Too many changes to list here in Byzantium/Armenia/Georgia setup thanks to aylo1

-----

I'll try to remember to update this as I go along. Most of the changes are behind the hood this time, as I'm trying to overhaul some of the worst broken events in some way.

I really like the idea of making the Templars Duke level vassals, that should make it far more interesting ...

It would be cool if Cordoba could be a little more powerful; it was fabulously wealthy and very important!

The Mezquita de Córdoba is still absolutely amazing ..

You really can't mistake the potency of the moorish military infrastructure in Andalucía either; the fortifications there are multiferous and imposing. They pepper the countryside like the broken teeth of some ancient beast. You really do realise pretty quickly that history is absolute crap - the Christians must have been terrified of the Almoravids, literally terrified!

^ I'm scared! c. 1147. Almoravid dominion.

What blows me away is the sheer wealth they must have controlled. The north was a desolate wasteland by comparrison to the verdant south with its thriving agriculture and endless bustling ports on the Med.

Jerusalem: let me put it this way -- it's 1250 now in my 1187 game, and both knight orders still survive and not thanks to random disappearing and reappearing. Most of Jerusalem has been lost though, the muslims really want it :)

As for Cordoba -- the domed church will reappear there. It was reportedly the second biggest mosque of the world in 990!
I'm also considering giving it a bigger castle. Cordoba was virtually untakable in conquest so it should have at least a medium_castle... maybe even a large_castle (but not the tech!).

And yes it's a miracle western civilization survived the muslim onslaught :)

What are their character-ID ? Which court are they in ?

Just giving names, makes it a lot of work to find them.

Can you be more specific?

At the least I need his/their location.
Also mention what is supposed to be wrong here... is the wife ahistorical, is she not in the game but should be, are they not married but ought to be, etc..
