More technologies were developed with Japanese aid. These technologies will improve the research teams of Cantonia. Also, with the aid of those technologies, Cantonia now can develope many things, which probably will help Cantonia in future.

Greater Cantonia Formed
Canto-Japanese border Treaty signed in Soeng'hoi
The Canto-Japanese border treaty, as known as the Soeng'hoi Treaty or New Year Treaty, was signed at a hotel in Soeng'hoi, Cantonia. This treaty was about the border of Cantonia and Japan after the war against Chiang regime. According to the speaker, originally the border was set at the Yangtze River, but due to several reasons both of the army cannot reach the line in time. To avoid lengthening the war, President Gaan Gwok-dung had a meeting with several Japanese Generals, and decided to abandon the line, and who liberated the land will have it until the war ended. Since the war is over, Cantonia had several meetings with Japan, and Japan agreed to pull the line more north as a reward of Cantonian warriors. The line was finally drawn in January, and the treaty was signed earlier today. In this treaty Cantonia received many provinces north of the river( see the pictures below ). President Gaan Gwok-dung himself said that "I am satisfied by this result, as more Chinese brothers were under our democratic rule."

Interbellum030.png

New border after the Soeng'hoi treaty, Japanese were feeling good about it as Cantonia purchased those lands which only have partisans.

Interbellum031.png

New territorial clam of Cantonia. Coeng'dou of Tibet is considered part of Cantonia, as it was in the Sikang province of China. Gaan Gwok-dung didn't ignore the fact that a base in Coeng'dou would shorten the southern borderline effectively too.

Ok! Caught up!

That's a very nice looking border that we have with Japan. Its very smooth and official-looking.

By the way, we should demand the Korla desert from Sinkiang! If we are to research nuclear weapons (as we should), then the US has shown that all nuclear test facilities should be located in remote deserts!

Rodrico Stak : Thanks. :D

Actually I prefer testing atomic weapon at Gobi Desert(a desert north of the great wall, also known as the "great desert" by Chinese), since even Korla desert had some remote towns there, and there are absolutely nothing but rocks and sands in Gobi Desert. :)
(Also, testing such a horrifying weapon at the border with Soviets certainly feels good)

Edit : If you insist, we can also test atomic weapon in other's lands.

Hmm, I am surprised the Japs accepted this. Do we still have claims on Formosa?

And as for the navy. I suggest making two large taskforces consisting of a flagship each. A 2-3 CL or CA and 8-10 destroyers. Transport would be included in these taskforces, instead of having a separate fleet.

OAM : Thanks :D

Crush3r : Well, they remembered how many resources we traded to them. :D
We will not have claims on Formosa until we are at war with Japan. :)

Nice plans about the navy, I would try to do so if Cantonia have built or traded enough ships. Also, how about CVs? Strangely, it is the eastest ships we can build.

Pope Pius XI was dead on February. Catholic Christians in Cantonia were sad about this news.

Interbellum035.png

Dai 1 Gwan Si'ling'bou, or Command Base of 1st Army, was depolyed to the 1st Army. Gaan Gwok-dung believed that this Command Base would make his command more clear.

On March 15, Germany annexed Bohemia, and installed a puppet regime in slovakia. As usual, the Allies didn't react so much. 9 days later, Germany claimed the city of Memel. No one dared to stop her expension.
"If Cantonia is as strong as Germany......" Gaan Gwok-dung thought.

Interbellum038.png

Italy probably tried to learn from the Germans, but it seems that they didn't learn well.

Interbellum039.png

After several diplomatic failure, the Allies finally did something probably useful to stop Germany. Poland was part of the Allies now.

Hmm, in any case we need to build CVs not BBs, their days are numbered.

As for the airforce, would the Chief of Airforce agree that CAS is a priority? And I also request that a Naval Aviation Department (techteam) be formed to make cooperation between the Air and Navy experts easier (Handling CAGs and Navs).

Crush3r : He should be supporting this as his trait was Army Aviation Doctrine. :D
Please post some relevant data(picture, skills etc) as I need them to cerate new techteam. :)

Piko : :D

The first expansion of Cantonian Industry was done in May 12. Industrial sectors of 5 cities were expanded, which means the productivity of Cantonia was improved.

Interbellum045.png

To utilise all these new factories, Cantonian Army announced a plan to expend her army. 240 thousand soldiers will be in the ranks 6 months.

Interbellum047.png

Finally, Italy annexed the small nation of Albania. Not many outside Italy and Albania care though.

Interbellum049.png

With the Airforce and Navy cooperated well, the development of Aircraft Carrier was done. Now Cantonia can build Aircraft Carriers.

After Poland refused to cede the port city of Danzig to Germany, they declared war upon Poland. Germany claimed that several Polish soldiers captured a radio tower and announce the declaration of war first. Later, the Allies declared war upon Germany.

War, after 25 years, loomed upon Europe again.

However, this news did less shocking in Asia, as none of the Asian nations were involved in this war. Gaan Gwok-dung was calm when he heard about this war too.
"Predictable." He commented.

WWII002.png

The Blitzkrieg doctrine used by German Armed Force showed its might to Polish forces. Half of Poland was fallen in just 2 weeks. After Warsaw's fall on September 15, Soviet troops invaded Eastern Poland. Being squeezed by two major powers, Poland finally fallen.
"That's why I don't rely on allies so much." Gaan Gwok-dung said to the Polish ambassador, when he was going to took his flight back to London.

Crush3r : I will add it. :)

It didn't take much effort to figure out what the secret project was. :)
Cast my vote for Closed society. The fact that about everyone in our lands recognizes us as legitimate, and many outside of our lands, means we're free to clamp down and make sure there are no threats to our power.
