Well it is Wednesday so that can only mean another dev diary. So let’s tell you about some the cool things we have been adding to EU3 for our Napoleon Expansion.
One thing that has not been as easy at is could be in EU3 is building buildings. For the moment when you have to build a workshop, first you have to go the ledger page about provinces, find the province with the highest tax value. After you have found that province then you can either go to another page where you can build the workshop or go to the province in the main screen and build it there. Either way you really want something like this to be simple. So how have we solved the problem? The answer is a new better ledger page.

Here you can select which building you want to build by clicking on the corresponding picture. Then the provinces where this building can be built also supply the relevant information for that particular building. So you always have the information you need to make the choices on where to build. Then it is a simple matter of click in the row to build the building.
We have added another a little bit of extra information onto the trade map.Now you can see what resource a province produces and if there is amanufactory there. You are probably thinking to yourself, is this a big change?

Well we think so. Now you can see which provinces have the high value products, perfect for deciding where to colonise. It also makes building manufactories a lot easier. You can see at an instant what province would be good for a type of manufactory but also if there is one there. So if you have the money, you don't have to waste the time.

Is it possible to click on for example Chinaware and see every province that produces chinaware? Then it would be exactly as in Eu2
