    Might want to change this to: KOJ - Roayaume de Jerusalem / Kingdom of Jerusalem it would help the english speakers. It's been refered to as KoJ multiple times here on the forums and would just make moding that much simpler.

    Well, Thanks to all !
    But I want to tell something more... :
    I already made more than you can see... But I think I am at 5% only. Because It is a "Total Mod".
    I see "Slave mod", "Church mod", Atage mod, Crusaders states mod, Bizantium mod, imago Dei... And this mod need to go more far in this all domains...
    Before I begining this, I had ask myself to know if I can do what I need.
    And I will do. If somebody want to help, with pleasure !
    Well, the fact is : to make 300-1800, I need many adjustements...
    The base tax in 300 are not the same, the pop grow are not the same.
    Some city have more than 500.000hab in 300...and don't even exist in 1453...
    So, the base tax, and the base production for each province will be 1. And all Add will be by province tag...
    Some policies could triggered a province tag.
    The silk road be created.
    An event for each countries... ( for created... In 300 to 1800... differents conditions (historical) Like Dynasties.... )
    A way to make money by occupation.
    A way to annex province by province
    Larger empire will be difficult to "administrate".
    More impact to population level.

    This many add, will not make too slower. Because All will be connected, and not like a combo mod. All will be coherent.
    And to this, I need your help.

    Well, propose me where. By exemple, If you allready think about "silk road", discuss together about different Ideas, to be in adequation to the other parts of this mod, and do your best.
    I don't have tell every domains of this mod. And if you told me ; well I think about A new Idea About "Golden Age" "Declined", or "Normal" Status for a country. I will maybe ( And it's rigth for this exemple ) tell you : I already think about this, and I wanted to make but don't yet say in the forum, and you can help me to make it...

    How many provinces do you see the final map having? 2x current provinces, 3x (this would be closer to the countys in CK).

    As far as the production/tax/population problem, what about connecting production/tax to manpower for earlier societies.

    Well, I will not to force the player to be 100% historical.
    In fact I will give to the players the possibility to be historical. And I will force Him to a realistic devellopement, by economist, politics, diplomatics stuff more realistic.
    The exemple of the silk road : before alternative road by naval, It will be important to controlled that.

    For the provinces, 300 will be complete added...
    100 will be deleted at some place and remplace by an other in other place...
    I have try to the base tax will be 100% about pop size... But not possible, so by event and by %...

    920. Tang have been disapear in China, and many kingdoms rise. Shilla Fall in Korea, and some kingdoms rise.
    The Heian are in Japan, and Tanma rule jeju island, Usan-guk rule ullung-do and Ryuku rule the ryuku islandS

    Well
    I have make many works in a few time.
    200-250 new provinces, more good.
    I have see that the original game, make some province in bad position :
    Some city are in the north of some other, and in the real-life, they are in the south.
    The new provinces are OK for "all Time" ! This map can do -5000 to 2007 !!
    Many island have been added. Like the many Island on the far east ( like you can see in the screenshot. ) Galápagos, Shetland, Feroe, Djerba, Zankithos, Kefalonia, and many island in indonesia.
    In the screenshot, All the provinces that you can see, are historical OK for 300-1950(well 1800-1950 just for fun )
    I show It in 920 because they are more country and it's the more complicated time. For sources, and they look the reason of the 25 news province that you can see have been created. They are less interest to show you the Great Tang empire, The mongols, or the Empire of Japan in 1940...

    Well, to add to this, this modd give many news things. Able to annexed a capital by exemple. It's more complicated than that, and it's more realist than that, and it's work. To tell the truth, the centralized sliders will have an important part for this...
    The reason are : The vanilla game are a good idea of game, but well, not so finished.
    When I tell you : The game will be historical accurate, and you will have good chance to see if you begin in 300, the good country in 1800...
    At this time, if you begin in 1453, you will have the problems of 1453, and in 1500, no additionnal problems, just diplomatics...
    This mod will actualise the world problems.
    And well, by exemple, if the wisigoths are deleted of the spain, them core will be remplaced by "kingdoms of asturias"... and when the kingdoms of asturias conquered a part of the portugal will have events like when you conquered the Brazil : new core... etc
    And If Frankish conquered Paris, they will have posibility to established they capital here. And in regencies, you will have events to change dynasties... When Wessex will conquered the England, they will be able to be "England" etc...
    but for all of that, there will be the choice !
    News policies for
    -Education
    -Tax
    -Construction
    -attitude of War
    -Population Flux
    -...
    All with events and province/country flag.

    News Ideas, who gives Bonus-S- and Malus too.
    Some buildings will affect the neibourgs provinces.
    etc...

    Well,
    But now, I will have less time to do this...
    So, this need a team.

    I estimate, I have already finish about 7%... in pessimist appreciation.

    Well, Every one can join the team !
    And I am not the Leader without question.
    Maybe this mod will be finish without me... (Well, The Paradox team have a chance, they gain money on doing this like that... Sadly, me not... )

    When I say, I am at 8%, it's because I will have many province flag, many new building, and each province will have the true time, (day-Mouth-years) to place each flag, Tag and building... and more and more... To give at all countries whose don't exist at thje beginning of the game, a events to create

    Well, No even one person proposal him help... So, the mod will continue, and will finish some day... But maybe in 2015. I don't want to lose time just to accelerate and give you a good mod, without any problems for you.

    Well, in 2015 when the 2 or 3 last player her will see the result you will realize that mod regroup all the other, and regrets the lost time between 2007 to 2015...

    Well, After Many research, I ask an other question to myself...

    The actual datation (we are in 2007 ) are not so old.
    They fix in 525 and have a first application of contemporain at 753... But really begin the reference some century later...
    For a mod who begin in 300, it's doesn't make sense...
    Well, The datation who was best for this mod is... -45 BC...
    Well, you can easy understand that make difficult to the player, and make some confusions...

    So witch datation ?
    Rome ? -754
    Hebrew ? -3761
    Buddhism ? -543
    Orthodox ? -5509
    Maya ? -3114 ( my favorite )
    So the question is : It's so usefull ?
    And, do you wan't to play before 300 and how far ?

    Great map, as for the date, I would love to play since greek times or even before, but let's hear others opinion, either way, I know it'll be a great mod.

    Don't overextend yourself, now. I think 300 is ambitious enough. I can't see how you would model, say, the rise of the Germanii if you startd in 323 BC with Alex's death, at least without using events that would restrict gameplay to actual history. The purpose of EU3 is to give players the opportunity to change history, so I don't think this is good. I am also content to play numerous games to get the whole sweep of history:

    Chariots of War: 3000-1000 BC, an excellent game that unfortunately takes forever to play out the whole time frame, as each turn lasts one month. 1 month/turn x 12 mo./yr. x 2000 yrs = 24,000 turns for total game completion.
    However, it is great in that, much like EU, every historical nation is there, not just the historically significant ones. So if you want to lead the Libu or the Samaritans or the Lukka (of southern anatolia) to become a great power, you can.

    Convert to Spartan, with the Gates of Troy expansion: 1000-323 BC. This is the sequel to CoW, and includes a more civilized (the diplomatic model n CoW is intentionally crude, because diplomacy at the time was also quite crude) These games bring you through the whole Greek period. Same 1 month/turn scale, but this time it's only 8224 turns.

    Convert to Legion, also by Slitherine Software: 323 BC-somewhere in the early AD time, as the Roman Empire crumbles, I'm not sure on the exact date. Actually, it would be better to wait until 2008 or so, when Legion 2 comes out. It promises to be a major improvement, but unfortunately got put on the shelf for a while while Slitherine did Great Battles of the Roman Empire for the History Channel. It is back in development now, though, so it should be done pretty soon. Also, this game will only take youaround 8000 turns as well.

    Convert to Historia Universalis

    There are other options. The games mentioned above only deal with Europe, so the rest of the world would be unplayable until 300 AD. But if someone knows of a good game for those regions in the pre-300 time period, those could be converted as well. Also, I would like to add that I am unaware of any existing converter for these, but the 3 above are all based off progressively newer versions of the same engine, so it would be easier to just make a converter than to extend the whole HU mod back the extra 3000+ years.
