Gabriel Terra's Dream

Terra Gabriel not yet old man. Series of strange happenings had made him absolute ruler of Uruguay. He remembered his previous life. He was on of the greatest oil driller in world. Fate did have it’s own irony. Oil driller in land with no oil.



Gabriel was good person and his people loved him. He was creating new jobs as he build new factory. After 16 months there was first.



With help of new factory next one would be ready after 12 months. Gabriel still missed his days as oil driller.

There was once again huge increase of industrial capacity at summer of 1937. There was more jobs, but gabriel didn’t care. He was many times seen at top of his tower looking toward Argentina. Then there was news that all national research and production were classified as secret.

Much later there was military parade. People were amazed as they expected only regular infantry division, but there was also ancient panzer division. Soon after that all people were called on military service. Much were committed in militia, but few were also called in special force training. Obsession of oil was too much for Gabriel.



At 1940 Gabriel declared war at Argentina. Three division of Argentina tried to defend. Then there were three more, but he forgot to synchronise his attack. One by one his divisions were slaughtered with attacks of 10 regular –39 infantry. Seeing that all is lost terra memorised oil days as he pulled his pistol out of holster and putted it in his mouth. Then he pulled trigger.

What were your goals for Uruguay? I think you could be forgiven for loading from an autosave, putting your army together a little more efficiently, and trying again. See if you can't get one of Argentina's neighbors to ally with you.

Also, if you want oil, why not build a transport and go after Saudi Arabia?

That game was my punisment for losing game. I wrote it so people would now about my failures too. My goal was win argentina and maybe continue game later.

I tought that uruguay is in Africa(geografy isn't my stronges knowledge), but i desided to try half serious game(building panzers isn't good with IC max 10) because that mat1333 is starting new aar with brasilia i didn't like to do same like AAR. That would seem like competition.

EDIT: Geez, you created more AARs in your two months here than I have updates in the last four months.

Oh right, that whole "sin" thing. Well, if it means anything to you, I hereby grant you absolution. I can do that, as I was once a priest in a Werewolf game.

So get back to that AAR and see if you can't still salvage it. Remember, the AI is, at its heart, weak and stupid. Cheat military control of Germany if you want to and at least stabilize the fronts. Stalemate AARs are so very rare, and a AAR with both victory and challenge can be a rare beast as well.

I already started new one in same tread and if i can ally soviets there can be huge things happening. I report that story or write AAR if success. If i fail i return to my first plan cos' it would have worked if would not have Furious agressive. Then i play that and write that better than before.

Confession of Sins: wasting good time and space by posting AAR's what are lost.

My punishment:Cheat maybe little(hopefully i dont have to) and write really nice story in future.
