On this one i have tried to translate little part of my first Finnish AAR with help of MWord to lessen typoes. If you like it i may try to translate rest of it. Story ends in year 1947.

starting date 1936

Gestapo is founded and hard training begins. Quite soon all the place’s are filled. Soon misfortune starts to happen to foreign spies. Large number’s of them are silently assassinated.

Industrial revelution starts again and airfields are build in assembly line’s. Also some anti-air batteries are build at maginot line and on some harbour provinces(I have bad habit to forgot my ship in them so English can have their fun on sinking them on harbour).
After foreign spies are gone i start operation “loaning” and first four success aren’t so bad.





But later I only get some blue prints for useless infantry tactic’s that have absolutely nothing to do with blizgriek. I also annoy soviets by disturbing their research and production few time’s

Austria wants to join our glorious nation and who I to deny them. I also start to wonder if other nation’s would like to join(in any way. wanted or not).
On late -38 my production concentrate on war machines and I begin to plan to have little war practice with Poland. I also trade for oil like a succer.



On spring I curse republic spain to hell as I learn about their victory. I grieve for wasted resource’s that I send to nationalist. My money balance went to negative so research was standing and now I never see those beautiful blue print’s. I shall remember this.

Year 1939 continues to look peaceful to outsider’s. No one can suspect what happening on Germany. Factories are producing tools for my troops. Later on spring Hungary ask would I like to split Checkoslovack with them and once again I don’t say no. Polish are wondering why I’m massing troop near their border so I fool them by telling about war practice that I’m arranging.

I'm drinking wisky for time time being and for the glory of friday, when the king idea strikes me. I should upgrade my troops after polish campaing, that shouldn't do any harm. Oh, how wrong i was(I'm wondering was hitler also drunk last years, he seemed to do same kind of brilliant idea's)

I ask Danzig nicely, but polish just spit on my face. On next morning interceptors and bomber rise to protect my honour. On midday all the hell breaks loose. Even that polish have more troops than i they are no match to my inferior troops that are supported by 3 HQ and attacking every direction.

Then i see message, French have beaten me somewhere. Well i was waiting that to happen so i don't care about it. It just takes all my conciousness to try to follow battles in Poland with my smoky eye's. On 17. day i wonder what that border does there, i don't know how long i have fought for nothing, but i think it's time to anex Poland.

I choose to look what's happening on maginot line and my smile vanishes. Over 16 divisions have broken into my territory and more is coming. All the hope seemed to die that moment. I quickly command my troops from Poland to maginot line, but the road is long. Over 31 division's is already invaded to my country and they start massive attack's against my inferior troops. I think it's time to go to sleep and try this sober.

Much later my generals tell me that enemy is striking us with full power and i decide to do my first counter move. I don't believe that they have secured they behind so i attack to Luxenburg. And i was right, only thing that defends one province in maginot line i just beaten Luxeburg's. They are easy to get rid of by anexation.

My tired and unorganised troops are slowly coming to counter Allied attack with thin success. More provinses are lost and so starts the time of loss and suffering. So start time that my nation shall always remember as RED WINTER, bloodies fights after first worldwar.

My tired troops are no match for superior and organised allied troop’s(maybe i should have upgrade my troops when i have time). My front lines are on breaking point, i concentrate my troops to last efford to break allies from supply by attacking their rear.

My battles on front line are catastrophic and allies consentrate too much troops to rear, so i don't get the success that i wanted.

Casaulties are horrified on both sides. Wailing's of dying are louder that noises of combat. Allies conquer provinse and i took it back. This continues till my slug speed movig HQ's arraive to combat zone. With field marals help and choose to use soviet tactic and i throw all my armies at once against allied force's. With the crushing sound their line's broke. I give Rommel an order "Paris or death"

Now finally my assaults are showing what i wanted to see and the snow mainly get red from French blood. I kill, slay and eliminate everything that moves. My vengeance is horrifying. Last bigger french army begs for mercy when i strike it from multiple directions

Not long after the French are weeping for peace. on 6. january they create government that licks my boot's. I took away their national drink Wine and they replace it with Vichy. And those idiots ever name their nation after it(shall no one ask why i didn't once again not attack French from Benelux countries)

Soon afterwards my ministers ask what should we do about Scandinavian. My blood thirst is far from satisfying. Immediately Panzers crush Danish, but I let Norwegians sweat for while, because I still pissed off from betrayal of Belgium and Netherlands. They should have helped me on war against allies. on 4.5(my real birthday) they get lovely wake up call as my class one panzers with support of airplanes start assault and other troops follow. In few moments all the survivors have either swim or flight to England.

Now it Norwegian’s time and so it falls. Allied air force’s are beating whole French territory and with my puny and little out dated planes are no match for them. French even try invasion on Norway, but I kick them back to sea.

Finally on fall -40 I get developed -41 infantry. It’s time to upgrade troops. Bulgaria and Italy join my alliance and I start to research air combat tactic’s. on winter Japan also joins and I notice that it’s most advanced of my allies. To other allies I give technologies, but with Japan I trade all so if I remember to watch what it’s developing I can develop something other to get free blue prints.
My spies are still continuing to sabotage production of USA, England and Soviet Union.

My air force’s are growing and becoming more skilled. On spring -41 huge air battle’s are fought over French continent and slowly I’m gaining air superiority.
I’m still little pissed off from those blue prints that I lost when republic Spain won the battle so decide to avenge for my nationalist brothers.
Same time I test accuracy of my spies. I only have 3 agents in Spain and they say there is 23 divisions, so I choose little bigger army. They get warmly thanks for job. As soon I broke into Spain i notice that there are at least twice that number of divisions. Just for starters germans glorius army has to encircle over 20 divisions out of supply.

My panzer that I send to Yogoslavia without better knowledge before, because I forgot to look at what terrain is there are now on their own element. After the first big battle there is no good resistance In whole country. Spanis divisions are killed to last man and English are exterminated in Gibraltar.

I sneak 4 submarines trough English cannel to there and they start to hunt convoys. There is also bomber’s flying to island of sicily to start combat practice against allied armies in Africa and they need it for sea lion -42 that I’m preparing.

So starts the year 1942. Unnoticed by allied great German war machine moved near English channel. On February 11. those early grey drinkers have my first present. 40 V-1 rocket strikes all over the country.

Soon afterwards skies are filled with fighters and bombers and my imperial navy is on move to test royal navy.

Even that my first invasion fail I can sense that there is nothing that can stop me. England is going to fall.
Soviet Union declares war and all I can say is f*ck. There goes my plans to invade it -43. Almost immediately there is somewhat 70 divisions loan from Bulgary and Hungary. Arggh.
My only comfort is that I finally get 6 divisions to Glasgow.

At same moment our navies start hammering each others, but there is too many of them and i am seriously beaten. Paratroopers land on England, but without proper air support I don’t have big hopes. Almost all my planes are heading to soviet border.

Strait to previous

My secretly builded Ruski line against russian’s prevent them from attacking and both armies stand still.

There is little fighting in Hungary. I try to attack, but there is too many of them. After a while I finaly get one of their panzer army to retreat by attacking them with mountaineer. Soon when planes are organised I can try with better luck.

Continues(1942)

First flowers of spring rise to get smashed by my panzers in English soil. Brits start massive counter attacks and as the battles raze hot I got northern England occupied, but chances of keeping it are small.
I start to beat them again with missiles but eastern front is taking too much time to keep it going properly.
Usa invades france so I have to send few panzers to kick them back to sea. Submarines in Gibraltar are hunting convoys with good luck and sometimes they are beaten by allied fleets. My troops in England are getting violent deaths, but they will be remembered and they will be avenged.

Russian bear roars and rises it’s pawn, but German wolf bites it in groin.

As I watch those foreing legions that I have get to control my smile gets bigger. They are almost all -41 infantry. I really think it was good plan to give them those blue prints. I change minister to army intelligense minister, its time to strike.

With massive armies of over 40 division I roll over Russian fronts from south. My own smaller forcies break trough souther parts of Ruski line. There is over two times more Russian divisions that I have in command, but my industrial capacity is over 100 bigger than theirs and there are new panzer coming. A lot of panzers. I belive I can break them.

Our armies have conquered Kiev. Russians only success in three months of continous fighting is to capture one northern ruski line province. My bombers are raining death to them and I have one secret weapon against them. Secretly I have influesed Finland. Chance of alliance is still only 20% but , but I would like to see Stalins face when he hears about mistake that I hope he’ll make.

Cancentrate to fight against me stalin and send all the troops here then when the time is right I release Finnish dog of war.

At summer war starts to really to take my nerves. My spies tell me that there is 286 russian divisions still active. I conquer provinces just to see endless Russian sea of divisions to flow back in.
I desperately attack as long there is even little organisation left only seriously injured divisions get little rest. After few months of fighting my success isn’t any great. My spies report that there is 283 active divisions. Jihaa….

At the start of Fall Finnish are full of rightfull anger and I release the hounds of war.

At same time i order 2 panzer divisions and 2 infanrty divisions to move to finland from Norway. Fights are growing hot in finnish soil. Red Machine is working with full power.
When my troops arraive many provinces have been lost to Russians but now they are fighting at three fronts. Me on south, Finland on north and japanies in east.

After a while truce with nationalis china have ended I think they would be nice addition to axis. Well I haven’t think too long before they DoW japan. maeby they are still angry about those more than ten provinces that they lost when I accepted their peace with japan. Russians annex of of my allies that japan brought with.
Now japan is fighting on two fronts, Red machine crushes in Finland. I toke a last shot and order my armies to attack tens of different directions in all provinces that I have them.

And Red machine bends. I have to leave provinces unprotected but it dosent matter. There is more bodies in Russian rivers than Fishes. My anti war propaganda missions have broken their will to fight.

new fresh troops are called from reserves of Poland. Air planes rebase in Oulu. I shall bring Russians their own Red Winter when I hear that new -43 equipments can be started to send to my troops and tigers are getting panters in company. Russian deaths are massive and colourful.

Decemper 13. I sit alone in my throne room when head of army comes in and reports that we have 50 divisions more than we have when war started. After he leaves Gestapos head reports with dry voice that over 90 russian divisions have fallen.
I return in my thoughs. Road is still long and peace far away. What allies are planning I haven’t heard anything from them for while. Well they are proplem that I have to deal when it must or have time. Now to nearer matters. Survive, Finnish boys, Survive.

We are coming.

No other chirsmas presents to bolseviks then endless steam of coffins. Slowly but surely brave German troops march in bad weather toward the hearts of comminist world. On Balkan fights get extremely ugly, half of finland is already lost, my TC screams red and i am personaly getting tired to this endless continent.

Al last 25. March 38 divisons compined attacks makes Red machine to feel first deadly knife wound. Moscow falls.

At same time my troops are bloodily moving toward Leningrad in north and Stalingrad in south. Gestapo has informed me that there in 60 more divisions of casualties in Russian troops.
On May Stalingrad falls, but on north battle is far from over. I hope my Finnish friends survive.
Even my fighters in oulu attack ground targets.

I have cut all the supply lines to Finland. My naval bombers and even my super heavy battleships are hunting convoys.
7. June Finnish people cheer when SS panzers return Helsinki back to its rightful owner.

Without Supplies the Russians are easy snack to combined Finnish/German troops. They are ordered to slaughter to last man. Finaly Finland is free from evil of Communism.

Undefined time -1944

At royal palace Winston Churchill is pacing around. new from eastern front aren’t nice. Roar of plane breaks his thoughts as he sees in window there is once again American bomber heading to germany. What the germans are up to. we have continuously bombed them over a year and they have sended quite little air defence. French skies are filled with allied planes. There isn’t enough german planes to anything. Are they thinging that we are some kind of joke?
In his hand is paper from counter intelligence. It says that germans have stopped producing infantry and panzers. What are germans planning?

Leader of Stalinist china is sitting alone in dark. He’s soul is filled with shame. Once again he has lost more than 10 provinces to japan. His soul and body now belongs to people so suicide is no more an option. Could he once a more try to regain his glory and attack?

On desert in his tank general patton is wondering how easy it was to conquer africe after german planes left. He’s bones are in pain and as a old man he knows what this means. Strom is coming.

Stalin is hearing reports from his generals and wondering what germans are up to. Their attack have ended this morning when he was forced to leave his last capital baku. He order generals to attack, but there are arguing that there is too many of germans, that thay will lose, that there is no chance.
Generals are shot at dawn.

I’m reading message and it’s short. Rommel on the way. My lips turn to something that resembles smile. Soon it Begins…

What I’m waiting for I wonder too on summer -44. Killing time in teasing English with my V-3(ballistic) rockets. They have quit a effect for their research.

On Fall -44 it seems that sh*t head Stalin isn’t going to surrender. Well have to kick him to japanis ocean. And so once a again war start. Attacking to Siberia at winter, maeby you could do things easier I think.

Its raining blood and snow on heart of winter as my troops push Russian backward but I have to slow down to wait infantry in mountain range of Siberia. I may be little crazy, but even I’m not going to attack with tanks alone in heart of winter into mountains.

On spring -45 I notice that I have lost province to English. What a F*ck. After a while of survey I notice that it’s in middle east. They are allied with Persians and iraq. Well now my Siberian army can rest for a wail as the war in middle east breaks out. I call 62 Figter/interceptors back to german soil as soon as I notice that red machine is planeless machine. Also my bomber have returned. there where too few airfields in Siberia to keep up with mobile troops to do any real effect. Rommel arraives in Spain to find all transports sunk in ports.

As the battles run hot in middle east I have also hot romance with iraq woman. In june Iraq is annexed and on next month Persia follows. I and allied concentrate huge amounts of troops in borders. none can attack and do any good.

Finaly Rommel gets his new ships and start to clean northwest of Africa for American invader. At same time I hear that my love pregnant. I would like to name my son as little adolf, but shes strong willed woman and so my son is named after his ancister. Well Saddam isn’t real arjan name, but I still hope to my son long and good life as I leave middle east to get back in berlin.

On spring -46 Rommel starts his tour in northeast parts of Africa.

Axis fleets have been destroyed, but so are all most all allied air planes. My unstoppable troops have annexed Mongolia and splitted it with japans. English island, convoys and fleets there are taking serious punishment from axis bombers.

As I invade last key province of soviet union Stalin cryes for bitter peace. I show him bitter shot in head and immidiet annexation. God help me with that TC need over 3000 and that 15% dissent dosent help it anyway.

Fall -46

Captain of English convoy is standing on deck as he hear someone to shout “Naval bombers incoming!”.
With binoculas he notices that there is least German, Italian and japanies bomber.
Soon there is more shouts. “torpedoes in water!”
Captain turns his head and look toward to his so loved English country and salutes.

Sunk of the last English convoy was the mark that started operation “Starvation”

I’m once again in my throne room. From windows I see riot against war and Russian genoside. It’s a long time that I have to use resources to health care other nonsense before this is over.
I have heard what axis over 60 naval bombers have done and I laugh to my self. No chrismes presents to tea huggers.

Time line winter 1946 summer 1947

Riots keep up and I usually hear reports of partisan activity in that small Russian country. I was too lasy to put any good gaarison army there and maeby someone may think it’s comical that I have some 40 divisions of panzers in Siberia to keep order in large armies.
Fight are standing still. my no morale troops in middle east dosen’t get anything done. Only thing that I can do is hunt allied fleets with my modern CV’s fleets. Is there sweeter sight that seeing French boat to flee before they are even on range to shoot back.

At spring -47 dissent is almost gone and England’s air defence feels the power of rockets followed with over hundred airplane. At summer there is no more dissent and Rommel attacks with supporting armies with crushing effect. Hungry brits wants to go home but there isn’t transports to get them there.

One carrier
Some smaller ships
Almost no planes
less than half of axis infantry
few tanks(I have 74 divisions main battle tanks alone)

This isn’t challenge. This isnt war. this is genocide.

I think it’s time to say that allied have lost their war.

I hope you like the story. It's quite cruely made when i compared to others, but it's my first game(and AAR) in DD(played HoI2 before). My second game Differed finnish aar will continue tomorrow.
