Doomsday v1.2
playing from 1936 as Japan and from mid 1938 as Germany.
Mods: GIP 0.5(updated too 0.6)
Game changes: I cheated peace once or twice but i'll note that in the story. Also i cheat money for spies, but that never had much effect no the game
Difficulty: very easy/weakling(bite me)
The whole point why this should be interesting: I believe leaders must represent their political views in their country much better so they actually do what their political view says they would do. Also the political view of the leaders cause the population to be of that polictical view automatically, making every country much stronger in what they do.
------------
Introduction:
On January 25th 1936, seeking to increase their military capacity the Japanese empire begins a 1 year long program to upgrade and increase their armed forces and navy by applying new tactics and better equipment.
New research was implemented, the factories across the country where transformed to build ammunition and weapons while all naval bases in the country began preperations of making warships. Big warships. Emperor Hirohito was influenced to do this by the prime minister Hayashi Senjuro who believed that the Japanese army was so important and such a symbol to Humanity that they should use it to expand the Japanese empire and make them the sole rulers of the pacific.
Hayashi showed the emperor awesome new technologies and tactics that inspired Hirohito to become a world power. They where both very focussed on reaching their goals.
Soon enough the Japanese started a cunning drafting method to get as many young men to enter the military, showing them the beauty and power of their country and at the same time showing the rest of the world as a mere slum neigbourhood that fed on eachother like parasites to survive.
But, Hayashi himself came up with this by closely looking to Germany and Italy who where increasing their military forces in that way that required a strong political view, Extremism. He found that the only way to become a world power was by occupying large portions of land(especially in the Pacific) and surpress the foreigners with his own developed Fascism. Japan prepared for war. Hayashi's political views where so strong he got the entire government and the whole Japanses Population under his thumb and they all where thinking, acting and breathing Fascism by the end of the year.
In the midst of 1936 the Industrial capacity of Japan had increased enormously and production of new warships and the swelling of their troops gave them enormous satisfaction all the way to the end of 1936. The people felt this new growth of IC with goods and luxuries they never could imagine(machine tools for irrigation for example).
New tanks came ready for construction in May 1936 and at least 7 new divisions of infantry finished bootcamp and where send near the ports of Osaka, Tokyo and Isoroku, where the main bulge of the japanese fleet was located.
