While the ruler of Cleves and Austria may be HRE, whoever is emperor is tied to the country the most electors vote for on the death of a monarch. I had João VIII of Portugal become HRE as King of Great Britain that way.

Edit: Didn't see the log. Silly me. :eek:o

It's a bug. If the emperor get's into a PU, he still remain HRE. It should pass to the senior partner or to a new country (in case of the electors not choosing the old country).

And I finally found that F11 is for screenshots, not Print Screen.

In case you don't recognize this faction, this is the United Provences of Central America.

I was the US and forced Spain to release UPCA. Imagine my surprise when I get a Call to Arms because they declared war on Sulu.

Allow me to explain: An Internet address is where on the Internet a particular file resides (sort of like how one's street address is where a person resides). It usually consists of the name of the top-level domain or "website" (i.e. the state / province), a set of subdomains (county, city / town), and then the file itself (street address). You can find just about any file that is on the Internet, provided you know the address where it resides. (Web pages are actually HTML files, but I don't want to go into too much detail about that right now.)

What Prussia Rules was doing was linking to "<whateverfilename>.th.png", which displayed the thumbnail for the picture that is produced by the ImageShack site when you upload it, instead of "<whateverfilename>.png", which is the actual image. To refer back to our example comparison, he was knocking on the door to the wrong house ;)

Hopefully this post helps to explain a few things :)

Also, so as not to be entirely off-topic: That UPCA in the Philippines is truly weird. Is there anything a la EU2's revolt.txt that defines where a revolter nation should appear?

Yes, I understand the internet. I though the "Remove the '.th.'" was refering to the screen shot in the post and couldn't find one, so was unsure of the meaning. Thank you.

I had a somewhat strange siege:

I guess, without a leader, those troops just didn't know they've won the siege when it reaches 100% and just kept pushing :p

When a country declares independence, the game loads both the old ruler before it got annexed, and creates a new ruler on the same day.
