One thing I've noticed is that reloading the last autosave to avoid a death 'of old age' is pretty pointless.
I think that perhaps, due to the nature of computer-generated random numbers, certain events are impossible to evade.
Here I've got both a Russia and a huge Bohemia! It's Nizhny Novgorod that formed Russia by the way

You can demand they release Delhi from vassalage. So yeah, you won't win anything now, but next time, ah, next time... 
And they somehow got vassalized again during the truce ... so they defected without any rebels

It calculates "superiority" on the total number of pips the unit has. If you're going on the defensive, hill fighter cavalry would be more effective
The tooltip is saying that his best infantry unit is a cavalry unit, and that he should start using it when he already does use it. A very informative tooltip, that one.
venice invaded Georgia in my game. Ive never seen them do a successful crusade like that though.
it does, they converted all their african provinces and they keep going on Mamluks and Adal, i have them allied tho, need them in defensive wars against austria etc and i wanna keep them busy so i can grab africa myself later..
Well that would explain it. I had assumed it was the other screen, because Indian Archers sounded distinctly infantry like.

Thats why I DOW Granada on day 1, take Gibraltar, sit a stack on it and wait. Silly Spain might try to take it back should it form, but I spend my first 50 colony-less years with a settlement policy down there. Once it flips the core is on countdown and I'm home free!
