I have - It is purely a matter of a large enough rebellion.

Annexations are possible in freedom wars. Both from the revolter and the previous owner. So the english army got overrun, and then annexed by the welsh :)

Wales had Gwynedd, Glamorgan and Cornwall and were at war with England before. They've taken a few provinces from Scotland but Cornwall's independent now.
 
I have seen Cornwall conquer them:

Here's a rare one. Poland got inherited by Lithuania which was supposed to get inherited by them. What are the odds?

Nah. It's Cornwall. Wales is blue-ish or green-ish.
 
Okay, okay, I get it: there are a lot of fruity-colored countries aside from Cornwall. :eek:o
