Hungary had stolen my leader even though I was the senior partner in the PU, and I hate getting 6 fire generals when it is absolutely useless early game.

In my other Sweden game:

England does not exist and has no cores(playing MMG).

Mercenary troops perhaps?
 
It could be a case where the last remnant of England was forced to release a vassal, which coincidentally had cores on all of England's land. I recall a game as the Timurids in MM IV where there were troops from Deva Bengal, IIRC, standing around even though the country had ceased to exist centuries earlier. Still, since they weren't getting any reinforcements, those armies wasted away to having 0 men, which these don't seem to be doing...
