my opinion, kill everyone but germany first, than fight the germans.
Or do it the fun way, declare war on every country still left.

What are you building now?(any carriers or battleships perhaps? ;) )

You are quite the stud now. Way to get Iraq on your side. Their army is decent, and they aren't fighting for the brits.

Well, for your problems you could try attacking Persia. After all, they were one of the Roman Empire's more dangerous threats. Damn Sassinids :mad:
Persia will open a front with India, and with the Soviet threath in the North I don't want to garrison this new border.

yea getting persia would also help your oil problem!
That's true, but Iraq will help me a lot and I will take some action that will decrease my oil necessities (See next update)

Inspired by your wonderful AAR i decided to start a game as italy myself. With just DAIM installed it's way easier to achieve great victories, however my TC is killing me and I wonder how your TC level is, from your screenies I can't see you garrison the captured provinces too much, still you seem to do very well. Would you let me in on the trick how you maintain a TC level that's reasonable for further heavy conquest? :cool:
Thanks! Well, my TC level is horrible, even after the liberation of Ethiopia and Iraq. The exact level will be showed in the next update (tomorrow).

"Everything but Germany" is a clever strategy for the moment, I will probably follow it.

No, my naval productions are stopped, I will wait for the level-V ships in order to project my naval power out of the Mare Nostrum.

Portugal isn't even a speed bump for your mighty Roman army so
I think you should go conquer them.
I think that, at least for now, I will keep them out of the war. In some months I can think in two options: DoW them or bring them to the Sofia's Pact.

May 9th, 1942

Unfourtnally our High Command advices the Duce to stop our advance in the middle of the African Jungle. The Duce agrees, thanks to the high oil comsuption of this offensive all our oil reserves was being consumed.

Many motorized, armoured and cavalary divisions were in this front, they will be redeployed to Alexandria, and from there to them new destiny.

See bellow the new Italian production line, the IC use and the TC.

Note the construction of an Airbase in the Soviet border.
For what will be used?? :D

The Soviet capital, Moscow, is encircled by the Germans. Great news! Days after, Stalin flees to the Urals.

Leningrad is also encircled and the Germans that have already crosse the Don River, are now near Stalingrad.

The Duce thinks that the time has come!

Well, as you've adviced me so many times, I have being waiting for more than two months only reinforcing, producing and redeploying my troops. Now I think that is time for some new and big action, but first let me post a list of my troops. The oil crisis of February also influenced in this new organization.

South Spain and Gibraltar

*8 Romans Militias divisions (guarding the beaches)
*2 Romans Interceptors divisions (to protect the convoys in the Gulf of Cadiz)

Comments: Nothing special, only a protection against an improbable Allied attack.

Morroco

* 1 Roman Militia (guarding the beaches)
* 1 Roman HQ (guarding the beaches)
* 6 Romans 1941 Infantry divisions (guarding the beaches)
* 5 Hungarians 1918 Infantry divisions (guarding the beaches)

Comments: A powerfull force to foght against a long-waited American Task force.

North Spain and France

* 8 Hungarians 1918 Infantry divisions (guarding the beaches)
* 3 Romans Militias (guarding the beaches)
* 1 Roman Garrison with MP (Anti-Partisan job in Madrid)
* 3 Hungarians Mountain Divisions (Reserve in the Pyranees)

Comments: A medium force in order to protect mainly North Spain, a zone that can be attacked directly from the UK.

Italy

* 1 Roman Airbone Division (reserve)
* 1 Roman Transport planes Division (reserve)

Comments: Well, until I need them they will stay in Rome, simple.

Egypt

* 4 Bulgarians 1918 Divisions (guarding the beaches)

Comments: Another improbable place for an Allied invasion, 4 outdated division should take care of anything.

* 2 Bulgarians 1918 Infantry Divisions in Varna (reserve)

* 1 Roman Garrison with MP (Anti-Partisan job in Athens)

Comments: Mainly a powerfull protection force of Ploesti, in order to prevent a Rumanian Counterattack.

Iraq and Kwait

* 5 Bulgarian Infantry Divisions (guarding the beaches)
* 1 Iraqi Cavalary Division (guarding the beaches)
* 1 Iraqi Garrisson in Bagdah (nothing special)

Comments: A weak force agains an almost impossible Allied assaul in the Middle East.

Ethiopia

* 3 Romans 1939 Infantry Divisions (guarding the beaches)
* 3 Bulgarians 1918 Infantry Divisions (guarding the beaches)

Comments: Protect our frontline in Africa against an amphibious landing in the back

Kenya

* 3 Romans 1941 Infantry Divisions (guarding the beaches)
* 3 1918 Bulgarians Infantry Divisions (guarding the beaches)

Comments: Protect our frontline in Africa against an amphibious landing in the back

Front in the French Chad:

* 3 Romans Armoured Divisions (stopped)
* 1 Hungarian Light Armoured Division (stopped)
* 2 HQ's, one Bulgarian and other Roman (advancing)
* 6 Roman 1941 Infantry Divisions (advancing)

Comments: Armoured divisions are stopped to decrease the oil comsumption, the others divisions continues our slowly adavnce to Brazzaville (Free France Capital)

Front in the Belgium Congo:

* 1 Roman HQ (advancing)
* 3 Romans Motorized divisions (stopped)
* 3 Romans 1941 Infantry divisions (adavcing)

Comments: Motorized divisions are stopped to decrease the oil comsumption, the others divisions continues our slowly adavnce to Léopoldville (Belgian Congo Capital)

Any comments or sugestions??

Well, to those that look more carefully to the troops numbers will note the lack of MANY troops. Theirs localization will be revealed in the next update, but you may discover..

Try your luck! :cool:

AI receives a +15% IC bonus in HSR and USSR also receives some extra bonuses after the winter of 1941/42 if Barbarossa is in action (some events fires even if Barbarossa didn't happen)

Good informational update. Nice to know the behind the scenes stuff sometimes.

I would build a rezerve army ( 9 inf ) And base them in Italy as a quick reaction force. (U have alot of MP :p )
That's not necessary, I don't have any fronts in the Mediterrean and I don't want to risk my surface ships out of the Mare Nostrum, anyway, I can use the reserves in the Balkans or in the Pyranees for reaction.

Thanks, it has being a long time since the last one, nice to know that you think the same!
=D

Finally, after months of preparation, the Duce receives the "ready report" of our border with the Bolsheviks!

Operazione
Mars
(Invasion of the Caucasus)

This operation consists in a full advance upon USSR at least until Baku, a great oil production province. After there, we should carry on the strike until Stalingrad and the Volga region.

Europe against the Anti-Europe

Troops ready for this Operation:

Air and Sea

* Regia Marina completely based in Varna (Bulgarian coast)
* 5 Roman Naval Bombers Divisions with Escort Fighters are also in Varna
* 3 Romans Tac Bombers Divisions in Ankara
* 2 Romans Tac Bombers Divisions in Baghdah
* 3 Hungarians Tac Bombers Divisions in Ankara
* 3 Romans Interceptors Divisions in Kars
* 1 Roman Air transport Division in Kars

Land forces

In Kars we have 26 divisions:

- 15 Romans, being:
* 9 1941 Infantry
* 5 Mountain Infantry
* 1 Airbone Division

- 11 Bulgarians, being:
* 3 1936 Infantry
* 6 1918 Infantry
* 2 Cavalary Divisions

In Trezibond we have 27 divisions:

- 23 Romans, being:
* 12 Motorized Divisions
* 2 Militias
* 6 Light Armoured Divisions
* 3 Cavalary Divisions

- The other 4 are:
* 1 Bulgarian HQ and 3 Hungarian Mountain divisions

Reserve forces for this operation:

* 3 Hungarian Mountain Divisions ready for embark from Spain
* 2 Roman Militias from Athens
* 1 Roman Airbone division from Rome
* 1 Roman Air Transport Plane Division from Rome
* 1 Roman HQ in Morocco

More than 50 division were mobilized for this operation, unfourtnally, we lack more armoured and HQ divisions, but there is no more time to waste waiting for the arrive of these troops. The Soviet Winter lies ahead, and the German Army advances are not so powerfull as in 1941..

What will happen to our glorious Empire??
