DLR Vote registered. I also want to see what the Zaibatsu think of this.

I don't remember if I voted, but, just in case... Another vote for De la Rocque.

All voters : the votes have been written down, receive many thanks from the Parti Social Français and the Parti Social radical. Thorez just said "bah!" and Pétain grumbled about today's youth needing a good war to teach you good manners. :D

Cyriandor : The Zaibatsu shall not be forgotten - starting with the Aso Cement Concern.

Pescifan : If it can make you feel a little better, in this TL De La Rocque, influenced by his Work Minister Roger Salengro, granted additional rights to the workers. I think it's mentioned in one of the first chapters. Of course, the PSF isn't the PSR, and its visions of unionism lean more toward corporatism than syndicalism.

Le Jones : I knew Albion was called perfidious for a weason, I mean, a reason. Now I cannot procrastinate any longer ! ;)

Palmyrene : Germans on the sea, what could better spell adventure? Or is it trouble?

BTW, I'm reading Ulrich von Hassel's journal (fascinating) and Ian Kershaw's book about "the Hitler Myth". When I'm done there's Rommel's war carnets, a French book about what the Allies knew (Barbarossa, the camps, Pearl Harbor, etc) and then the 36 stratagems, a book of ancient Chinese strategy. Book porn for everyone ! :D

Must...refrain...from....making...joke....about....the...irony.....

:D

Let's have another Vote For Blum, shall we?

STUFF THE BALLOT BOX! De La Rocque!

Voting for Blum would derail the concept of a prepared France vs war with the totalitarian states! ;)

We want a French analogue to the British threads here!

:D

Who's to say Blum wouldn't be tough, we need a socialist, not someone who's a step away from wearing jackboots.

I'd prefer someone not a step away from sending me to Siberia to re-educate my capitalist sensibilities either...

A vote for de la Rocque please...

*RP Mode ON:* Have you actually read how flip-flopping Blum is? I guess you haven't, the guy wants power so badly he wants to twist his words to suit his political goals! *RP Mode OFF*

I'm sure Col. de La Rocque would be appalled at this gross misrepresentation! As a former Colonial officer from the Lyautey entourage, it's cavalry boots he's always a step away from wearing.

The votes have been registered - clearly by now it's a race between Blum and de La Rocque, barring a downpour of votes for Thorez' clandestine PCF and Pétain's fledgling Action Française.

Update this week-end, a firm promise.

De La Rocque! The name itself is coolness in itself. ;)
